I was so excited to install these Auxito Error Free 912 921 T15 LED Bulbs. These 4000 Lumens/Pair are extremely bright in 6500K, probably the brightest on the market! I've had these close to 6 years. Installed them on my 2018 Chevrolet Cruze, my 2021 Chevrolet Trax and now this vehicle. They work amazing, but unfortunately they throw the electrical system off and cause the backup camera to stay on. So I found a temporary alternative as you'll see in the video. I came back from the switchback headlights video and wanted to see this one. I have a fully loaded ls model and the rear backup camera is a problem on the trax itself, it happened to mine twice a couple months back then stopped something to do with apple car play and Bluetooth trying to connect.

That’s a shame really. I hope it’s not an ongoing issue. Another issue I had was installing LED bulbs in the brake/turn signals. It’s caused the tire pressure monitoring system to fail. I took them out and the issue went away immediately. I’ll stick to stock back there until I find another alternative that will work. Thanks for your input by the way. Much appreciate!

Do the switchback signals overheat the existing wiring

Sorry for the late response. I had no luck with LED's regarding the brake/turnsignal and reverse lights. All seemed to mess up the backup camera. It would stay on. I haven't tried switchback for the brake/turnsignals, that might be my next attempt. As far as the front turn signals go, they are really successful! And the switchback LED's I used actually have little fans on them. Keeping everything cool. LED's are generally cooler and draw less too. Stock incandescent bulbs actually get extremely hot and don't affect the wiring either. Thank you for the video! I would like to figure out what size bulbs are used in the rest of the taillight as well as the front signal bulbs on my 2RS that are in the headlight. I would prefer to swap them out with some error free ones like I had in my Bolt.

Thanks for watching! I’ve tried 2 or 3 different types of LED bulbs that were CANBUS ERROR FREE but was unsuccessful. Not sure if there is a bulb compatible with this vehicle regarding the taillights. If you go to my videos, I do have one about switchback LED’s that I really love. Not sure what front end you have on the 2RS but it might be different from my 1RS. It’s worth taking a closer look at 👍
