if you want to shorten the wire just cut the at the end what u have extra

have u tried giving power and ground to the side markers to see if maybe they are bad what i mean is take them off get the red wire and put it on the postive + side on the terminal red with red and take the black wire and put it on the - side of the battery see if it turn them on it it goes next thing u do it take the red and cable and take it off and on see if it makes the turn the seguuenve on

Not to complain as well but I bought the same ones as well because I likes the way the “bump” looked on them. Unfortunately I got the death black finish with a flat surface on then just like Franco’s.

@@TCJR3Xare you taking about which one i connected it too ? if so its the turn signal connector ... use the gray color wire to split into it ... if ur talk about the connector i used they come with the side markers

Mine are only orange 😐

For me, it stayed white because I didn't clamp hard enough on the red thing, it has to cut through the two cables so it makes a connection. And one stayed yellow because I didn't put the first connection in correctly, I put it in reverse (the one that replaces the original light bulb).

You have to flip the red and black cables in the initial connection

only when the headlights are on but u could wire them to be on when ur drls are on !

still running till this day funny part they are now on my wifes hatchback and i order another switch backs i found and love them

that's what "switchback" is. white for running use and yellow/amber when you use turn signals. buy regular ones to keep the bulb one color

@@nmai1918, right but I never see the white even when I’m not turning lol. I turn the car on with no turn signals and they are still amber yellow

Same here. Mine stay amber all the time when DRL kicks in at night and when I turn the blinker it doesn't do anything (I did wire the cable to the blinker). Did you figure it out?

I believe the switch back side markers come with their own light bulb

So all u connect back in the plug is the switch back wire plug 🔌

Pretty sure he meant the color. Obviously the turn signal wire is the one to tap into. What color is it?

some time the splice doesnt cut the wire make sure it has been cut by the splice the rubber

@@714Garage its okay i got it! literally had to tighten the splice real good lol

If it stays yellow on regular and white when blinking (changing lanes) it could be that the first connection that replaces the original lightbulb was inserted the wrong direction, so basically just flip it like plugging in a USB cable the wrong way.

I got no space to pull it out

Put gloves on helps so it won’t hurt

Ok I connected it back. My white led works but the turn signal doesn’t. If the red wire touches the batter than the yellow light goes on but the blinker doesn’t work

Only when your headlights are on... the yellow flashes when your blinkers are on.
