Please include in the above this link to the original source material, entitled "The Blackwater Gospel" the Bachelor film project 2011 from The Animation Workshop. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vVkDrIacHJM.html&ab_channel=Wicker.Works IN my opinion, as an artist educated in Fine Art History, Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, Animation and other media, to credit those who created the Animation: Bo Mathorne - Director Arthur Gil Larsen - Animation Lead Mads Simonsen - Technical director Thomas Grønlund - Animator Rie Nymand - Animator Esben Sloth - Art Director Martin Holm-Grevy - Environment lead Tue Toft Sørensen - Animator would in no way DETRACT from this piece, (which I hasten to add) you do NOT claim as your original work. WHOMSOEVER EDITED and created this piece has gifted the world with a fantastic HOMAGE to the original work (in my opinion) and the video presented here (which I saw years ago on ANOTHER artist's page) STANDS ALONE as ART in the true definition of the word, as this piece or WORK evokes POWERFUL emotion and it FEELS as if the animation piece was CREATED for this particular piece of MUSIC, so well known and long loved. I AGREE this work, whomsoever created this , IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, and it is a WORK an artist CREATED as something which goes beyond the original of BOTH works....by fusing the two into something that SPEAKS eloquently to the TERRIBLE BEAUTY of EACH work. ART HISTORY is rife with similar "INSPIRED works" wherein an artist REFERENCES an earlier "original" piece (which might itself have been inspired by a previous work) and CREATES something that STANDS ALONE. In my opinion, rearranging and editing the source material into THIS original work [albeit one inspired by BOTH the ORIGINAL work of the team who CREATED the animation in 2010 AND the song itself] ) the editor and creator of this piece has created "Art". IF it was YOU, Well Done, Indeed. IF it was YOU, I, too, HOPE you are still making videos.
Yea, I remember seeing "The Blackwater Gospel" for the first time...blew my mind away. It was so well done. That, and some French post-nuclear animation with a gas mask and hallucinations of the past (yea, vague, I know, sorry, can't really remember it or else I'd share the link), were probably my two favorites from around that time.
the original was made by Bo Mathorne, Tue T. Sørensen, Arthur Gil Larsen, Rie C. Nymand, Mads Simonsen, Thomas H. Grønlund, Esben Jacob Sloth, Martin Holm-Grevy and was a bachelor film project be sure to follow the creator of this incredible video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vVkDrIacHJM.html&ab_channel=BoMathorne
I make specialty karaoke videos, would really like to use this animation for this song. I would give full credit, and link back to your channel. Can't guarantee a whole bunch of new views as I'm just starting out, but am building.
