Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

Bonham was a monster on they drums. Feel sorry for his drum tech. He hits them so hard with those tree trunk sticks, brilliant. He must have has some dexterity in his hands to play like that. I feel like I could spend all day just listening to a repetitive loop of the way Robert says, "Hey boy, do you wanna score?" and responds to himself with, "Do I wanna score?" All day. All freaking day. Should make that my ringtone or something. Lol.

Led Zeppelin is the Lord Of The Rings confirmed. Amazing song all around with Bonzo on the set, Jimmy’s amazing soloing, JPJ’s incredible doubling the bass and piano lines with his hands and feet, and Robert’s powerhouse of a voice. Great upload.

completely wonderful-the musicianship, the showmanship, Jimmy's pants, Robert's belly, Jonesy's playing keyboard and bass at the same time, and of course the GREAT Bonzo…..what a fabulous video.

I just watched a video of how to play this on guitar, the guy said Jimmy changed some things when he played it live here and there, but watching this it’s shocking how much he went off script, he was literally improvising through all of this, adding and altering and flowing in incredible new ways. WOW, only Jimmy can Page like that.

Mir kommen die Tränen. Was versäumen die jungen Leute heute.

The first time I heard this song I was on a trip in my grandmother's small town, there was nothing to do there, but at least I had my cell phone and it had this song and many others on it. I spent the three days of the trip listening to Led and their contagiuos songs, never forget
