Just recently learned of Lee Bird from watching him drift his RB30 BMW E92 in Adam LZ's drift event. Big fan of this guy. I love all the sports cars out there really. Fwd stuff, Rwd, Awd .. I like it all. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mistubishi, any brand has at least 1 car I fw. I'm not too picky. But overall, from start to end of the lineup, Nissan has soo many amazing machines. Definitely my favorite Japanese brand. 370z, 350z, R34 and R32 Skyline, S14, S15, S13, GTR, the list goes on. And I've always been a big fan of Skyline's, so the RB26 is the main engine I'd always be crazy over. It seems like car people usually 2JZ swap all their cars when they want some fun, good sounding power. And often everyone says the RB does sound amazing also, but going that route is not as reliable / as easy to build. So seeing someone like Lee who specializes in putting in great knowledge to put these amazing RB's to perform, love to see it!! 😎😎 Greatt podcast episode, loved hearing all these stories! Big up the island people! 💯

You need to get Adam lz mechanic on here. He was one of the first people to do a jz swap with stock harness and stock computer way back. Also worked at an importer so I’m sure he’s got some crazy stories!

Just for clarification Trinidad is one the only Caribbean island that have that rule that you can’t import a car older than 10 years etc. most the other islands have no rules on importation of any vehicle at any age.

I ran a pulsar gtx3076r at 40lbs in my DSM it handled every bit of abuse I threw at it and didn’t smoke after 5k miles. I didn’t even run water to it when Garret says water cooling is mandatory. If the cars not a high high dollar car I would run pulsar 100%.

1:02:43 drain sizing fitting and routing will make turbos smoke. don't care what kind it is. iv ram borg garret precision and now a pulsar never had any of them smoke my car is daily driver 600hp sc300 2jzgte vvti my experience with pulsar is i went from precision 6365 too gen2 psr s372 dbb billet wheel and it's only 500rpm diff rebar in spoolup then the precision but the hp diff is prob 100ftlb

R34s with 4wd was the gt-four, unfortunately, there were roughly 700ish cars, and many, many were converted to rb26 or modded and they almost never come up for sale and plenty of them were NA- auto. Lee, i see what you did with the drain comment. Bap bap bap! lol.
