Something not highlighted in the vid(since I was playing Steve) is that when you decide to SWL~db instead of SWL~df, you're still doing really good against d3 since it is launch punishable on block by most characters.
I have a tendency to over complicate the game so seeing things more simply through the clarity of speekicks' analysis is definitely a treat. Thanks for the upload👍
Hey speed this is a fantastic video. I think your practice mode content is brilliant. Please keep doing those. more of your practice routines against situations like this. \m/
JimmyJ said you can’t do sway moves while sidewalking in the 2P side , i tested it and turns out that he was right :/ maybe that’s the case with the low parry
Hello Lord Speedkicks can you show us how to deal with Bryan orbital heel ? and paul df2 safe highcrush launcher paul hopkick that tracks and cover him when he whiffs :/
Nice job mate, any tips on the Miguel matchup, his df1 pressure is giving me trouble + his savege df2 is very risky to punish or even try to side from a distance
Helpme gets around this tech by sidestepping between df1's (watch Qudans vs Helpme for reference), it always tracks when you do that. So, the game evolves a little more then just SS left beating all options. Also, instant running 3 is probably his best generic option if you're going to do something slow after df1. It's an option that gives him + advantage on block and blows up low parry.
Your video where you played against a hwoarang online spurred my greatest improvement on the matchup. Please keep sharing your knowledge and experience 🙏
Most of the options are very stepable so you should go to practice and try it out. But if it doesnt work try backdashing instead and see what you can get to whiff and what you can counter
It's not unparriable. Speedkicks was just too far to Lee's side for the game to register it correctly. Weird situation is all. Speedkicks figured it out, adjusted, explained it, then demonstrated how to deal with it properly.
