Real L4D players know that when you just hear the Tank breathing heavily or thumping about but you don’t hear the music yet, you move with ABSOLUTE precaution! And this is def. more anxiety inducing than actually hearing the music first lol
This thing was literally just STANDING THERE what a predator. He didn't shuffle about mindlessly waiting for potential prey like the other zombies, this guy *already knew* there were survivors and just held a spot. A secluded dark corridor entrance in tight corners, so vicious
The Tank's the biggest out of all the infected boys, he's gotta conserve energy to get the survivors in shorter bursts unlike the rest who can hunt him down
i like how you specified the location so precisely as if a populated well-lit open room with rounded edges would be any more difficult in any way whatsoever for the tank lol
@@spimbles Yeah, except for the fact that it literally is more difficult for him. If he was to stand out in an open area, like say for example out in the center of the room there. Bill and two other survivors could have been aiming at them during the initial attack, which quickly drains a tank's massive health pool. So literally it is more difficult since you're going to be rude and say such a thing about it Yeah if he were to just use explicitly brute force he'd be easily molotoved and gas-canned and boomerbiled out of mfing existence. And nobody would care about tanks, but they aren't like that. They WANT and WAIT for the leading survivor who is almost always slightly more ahead than the rest of the team. So that he can jump them possibly putting them down even in the higher difficulties. He is probably designed that way to punish single-player guys who rush ahead of their AI teammates
The first time I met the tank was on l4d2 in the mall and ran down the hall where the broken door was and I said what does he look like to my friend then I turned around and turned the corner and got instantly smack back down the hall and said WTF IS THAT he said that's a tank Blap Blap Blap Blap.Best way to meet a tank period.
Good thing this wasn't Expert. Any seasoned L4D veteran knows to ready themselves, an escape route, and seek out the nearby, idle Tank with caution and aggro him when ready. Once that breathing is heard/captions are seen, we know it's game time. But props to you for trying to get the Akimbo Assassin achievement :D
The subway area where so many pillars is the ground experiment for me long time ago. I'm so curious what happen if all pillars were destroyed by the tank so I keep spawning tanks and nothing happened
this happened to me before but even scarier, i was playing dead air and my screen was shaking i didnt know what it was cause i dont have my sounds on and i looked on back and just saw a tank ready to slap me, my game froze while i saw the tank literally so close to my face
Something same happened to me. But I went backwards stairs up in L4D1 at the ending of airport and then my screen start shaking and I just ran forward without turning cus my soul left my body
@@DemonicMisfitYT I figured I asked that because when I was young playing this game, I saw a in a Subway tunnel standing there doing nothing but smashing the ground and the music wasn't playing when I saw it like that and I had a hunting rifle equipped for the Occasion to take a closer look and thought, "Oh, I wonder if it does something when I shoot it in the left arm?" And then... well, oc if you fought a tank already, you'll know what comes next lol
@@keonimarcelo5813 I gotcha 😂😂😂 Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of seeing a Tank idle. They usually end up treating me like a rag doll lol. If I ever see it happen though, it's going up on the channel for sure.
It's possible! Usually you can only about half of them as if they "see" you it starts the fight, They just kinda stay posted waiting on someone to run through lmao
It's possible if the map provides the right viewing angles. In 2, you could even bile the tank without alerting it and let the horde take care of 'em for ya.
I was so lucky once in L4D2, in that clown / motel zone. Where you climb up the billboard sign, and they got the sniper rifle waiting for you. And I heard the tank off in the distance, growling & breathing heavy. But he didn't see me. He was around a corner in the distance. I could see his huge arm flapping. So, I started firing at him before he even saw me, and I was very far away.
So in a versus match, i thought we was gonna turn off the alarm in dead center but nope, they just so happened to get a tank right there. Everyone was in crippling condition so take a wild guess on what happened
Happened to me once. I was about to enter a Safehouse in Swamp Fever, and when I opened the door, BAM! A Tank came out of nowhere and bitchslapped and threw me across the map, right when a horde was coming.
If you see tank Hiding use this Molotov or Pipe bomb Grenade Launcher Or Use any weapon not A shotgun You Will See Tank Arm Moving dont charge it or you will get fly away That it for Everyone who seeing this So You Lucky :)
Tanks smash through doors pretty much instantly and the tank might easily have moved into the way of the door in time. Would have been a bigger risk to bother trying that instead of just shooting, especially since they're clearly on a difficulty mode where the tank doesn't have tons of health.
@@TheNoobyAnimator I'm no expert nor am I very skilled, but I do have over 1k hours in the game and I don't recall seeing that happen. I'm not saying it's impossible, but if it's possible, I imagine it requires pretty precise timing. Keeping up momentum to outpace and shoot the tank still seems like the safer bet to me
@@TheNoobyAnimator No, it doesn't happen. Tanks can only stun/stumble when you throw and shoot a propane tank at them. Like getting the achievement in Crash Course.
