The best thing about being Grill Pilled is how grilling is legitimately one of the best hobbies you can get into. Matt's bit about there being no middle class in Russia during the revolution is totally wrong. there was a huge middle class made up of that formed the majority government after the February revolution. It was made up of the urban middle class, represented by the mensheviks in the duma, of professionals and bureaucrats and the middle and large peasants, represented by the right SRs in the duma. Kerensky's government is rather analogues to Ebert's. The difference is Kerensky's commitments to the war m,ad him loose his popularity among the lower middle class and the dual power had a ready made authority to acquiesce to in the soviet. The KDP jumped the gun and got fucked up for it. you can't blame them anyone would have done the same thing.
Ridley Scott is severely overrated, but so is Cameron. Alien still turned out to be a great film, much better than all the sequels. It's an well-written horror film with great atmosphere, pacing, and tension. The sequels are just brainless action flicks.
