I never use sage. You actually want to make me try it. I starting to use more herbs now that my son became vegan. Thank you for the ideas to store fresh herbs. You are awesome!

Thank you so much! 💕💕 I hardly ever used to use them either! I always feel the grocery store gives you too much. That’s why I wanted to make this vid that shows what you can do with all the leftovers. 😁 Glad you found it useful! How long has your son been vegan? 🌱

@@LetsEatPlants both of my son did not wanted to eat meat two years ago. I have two teenagers. The young one in his Senior year went strict Vegan for 2 months and we went shopping with his list and he was very strict with his vegan diet. Then we learm from him and change our grocery shopping. After 2 months, he started to eat some meat again. This year he is not eating carbs or process food. He makes his own food so I jst watch and taste. My older son just does like meat. He does eat chicken. We add more vetables in our diets. I love eating and I eat everything that is healthy and I eat a variety of food. I appreciate you also mentioned other interesting recipes from other channels.

I'll have to try freezing the sage in water soon. Interesting way to store it... Have a happy vegansgiving Maddie!

Very interesting, I agree! It should work for any other fresh herbs you have as well. 😄 Happy vegansgiving to you too! (Vegansgiving--- I love that term!!! It's the first time I've heard it! 💕🌱)

Pretty cool herb preservation and ideas, I feel boring I haven't tried sage yet. I've been playing with curries. Will get to it 👍

Dried sage leaves how to use in cooking. Pls reply

Hi there! You can use dried sage in smaller quantities than when using fresh since the flavor is more concentrated. 1 tablespoon fresh chopped sage = 1 teaspoon dried. Also, add dried sage at the start of cooking so that it can mellow out as the dish cooks. Hope this helps! 😊

I don’t think I have ever used sage in my food. 😜

Hahahaha, yea it's not quite as common! I feel it's used a lot more often in fall/winter recipes. But the freezing methods should work well for any other fresh herbs you may have (thyme, rosemary, etc.). 😆😆 That being said... give it a try in one of the recipes I listed! You might like it!
