I generally don’t comments on videos but I have been quite active lately in gym. Your videos are of great help and I watch all videos as per my routine day before my workout session. They also help to avoid stupid and unknown mistakes especially for beginners in the gym. Also, no more banters and eye rolls from the gym freaks 😀 Keep doing the great work!!
I generally use this exercise as warmup with light weight that helps me to feel the contraction .. after that I squat and increase the weight gradually..
Great training by great trainer. A 61 year old male ,due to knee injury and surgeries I was hesitant to do leg extension. Now I will do it with proper safety precautions thaught by you. Thanks Jeet !

Hi Sir , I think you should also explain the role quadriceps in details. Now days 90 percent knee problems in Age group 30 to 40 are due to weak quads . Quads help in keeping the alignment of knee bones , in case of weak quad alignment is not proper leading to chronic pain and ultimately hurt the joint . I think isometric quads are best for home

First of all I'm a fan but I wanted to ask you one thing . I'm following a workout routine for 3 days and I just want you to study it . 1. Push-ups (5 sets of 20) and squats (4 sets of 50) 2. Pull up (4 sets of 6 and increase if I can go on) and then crunches (4 sets of 50) 3. Rest And then repeat . My diet is 2 bananas and sprouts in the morning , a normal lunch , 2 bananas in the evening 1hr before workout and in the end 2 eggs 2hrs before sleep. Please reply me for your suggestions .

Jeet Sir mai leg extensions sahi form se lagata hun, apne jo 5 mistakes mention kea unme se koi bhe mistake nahi karta hun and number of repitations 15-20 rakhta hun... weights between 80 -120 lbs... but still mera joints me injury ho gaya.
No offense sir , but this exercise is just not worth our knees .even after your suggestion on how to do it , it's really risking our knees , Jeff cavelier has made multiple points on this exercise including other good fitness channels. No matter how good we do this , you can't ignore it's effects . BTW A FAN .IT JUST DIDN'T CONVINCE ME ON THIS ONE .
all legendary bodybuilders are doing leg extensions around the world.. they didnt have any injuries or side effects.. and im doing it too from last 10yrs you should see my legs.. i didnt faced any issues.. you are not able to it properly then its your fault buddy.. do it with proper form
@@amangraphics that's the problem I can do it I have been doing it . But in the long run this exercise are not worth of our knees . Dude there is a difference between a legendary bodybuilder and a normal day to day individual to build muscle they take steroids they don't waste thier body energy on unnecessary movement . Hope you understand the difference between a bodybuilder and a healthy working individual . As for you 10 years is nothing you will ravages of this exercises sooner or later . Remember one thing Aman not everyone biologically made for every exercise. Only a well experienced trainer can tell you that you can see many people doing that exercise with no injury and you can also see equal number of people who got injured from that exercise.

I have slight gap in left knee but no pain ..except taking stairs too muchn uncomfortable in sitting eastern toilet...my height is 5.3 and weight 65..66..osteoarthritis...can I do with 5 kgs.pls comment

But now at the time i really have pain in my both knees I think just because of this exercise what i did with wrong way may be .... so how can I overcome this problem??? Jeet sir ,I had ankle ligament tear, so had plaster for 1 month then dr told physio for activating jt ,actually was not doing leg workout ,last week my workout changed, added leg workout, so doing cardio ulcerative day ,is treadmill doing correct for me as am suffering from quandromalacia patelitis ,and newly added ankle pain from May, oedema is till there on my lft ankle I am confused to doing squats today I done squats with help of rope plz guide me which is best for me without pain & any muscle injury my age 54yrs doing workout in gym since 6yrs ,but the way u explain such minute things really its very important for us gym trainers also not explain ,so want to fit ,& fully energetic, tking step forward to help anyone to stay fit and healthy life onwards, so plz guide me plz as u possible 🙏🙏 thanks lot ,good day, tc

If I'm not mistaken, you are conscious abt pre/post workout supplement ie Protein/BCAA etc powder. Dekho bhai, protein is a nutrient aur food me bhi toh protein hota hi hai. Agar daily water intake kum hai toh kidneys 100% performance nahi degi chahe pre/post workout shake lo ya na lo. Whole day diet mai protein food jyada hai toh, pani matter karta hai. Long story short, if you drink around 3 ltr of water daily and even pre/post supplement then there is no problm at all.
