I think a lot is being skipped over or rushed because the show runners fear it might not get another season. I think adding so much so quickly is an attempt to “save” a show that had so much potential in the beginning. Even the new monster every week felt less rushed than 4B in my opinion. loved your reaction though, can’t wait for the next video!

Agree entirely with you. The Originals was incredible… they are missing a million opportunities. Thank you for talking about Hayley. I don’t dislike Landon but the storyline is old. Let’s play with storylines of her being a powerful witch and some Marcel bonding…at least.

that’s the thing i like landon i love aria as an actor i loved landon’s brother bond with rafael but the way they just keep making hope’s stories about him when there’s so much about her character that we loved from the originals that keeps getting disregarded is NOT it

At this point The TVDU is dead and buried I just want Danielle rose Russel to move on onto bigger project cause I find her an amazing actress especially in a fantasy role as a protagonist, like even tho the writers keep trying to ruin Hope’s character with literally every single action she makes I still can’t dislike her and I keep thinking that she’s carrying this show for now like 4 years so….. Hope she moves to bigger and better things because I’m having a breakdown every episode now seeing this universe that I love being shred apart more and more 😃✌️

Yeah Danielle is such an incredible address she played different personalities between her humanity side and no humanity side and you can tell the difference between the two. I do hope she moves on to a much bigger project, but in the end Hope mikaelson will always remain iconic and legendary.

At this point I strongly believe that the fans can write better then these writers in legacies. Everything feels reused like every now and then a monster has to take up an entire episode like y, just move on with the plot. They could have just had hope force the squad to join her and then move on, we didn’t need an entire episode on it. And Lizzie always has the same problem, she is always dealing with something mentally and then have another character point it out. They didn’t need those scenes with aurora and Lizzie communicating about mental health and their problems we already know that they r mentally broken just move on to finding Jen we don’t need them bonding just for the writers to break them up next episode like they did with hope and Lizzie when they were working together

you're right. I've seen amazing fanfics for this show, I have my own "desired ending" for Legacies that's probably never gonna happen because the writers wouldn't think of it.

I really hope that they don't make it just another 'Hope's doing this because of Landon' thing. Like, yeah, he factors into it, but like you said, so many other things do as well. When her humanity was like 'I'm your better half,' I really liked that because I took it as a hint at further self-discovery and really just Hope learning to accept/love herself. I do think that some things do feel rushed, not JedBen though. Mainly, the sire bond storyline. It would've been nice to see more of that dynamic, but it only lasted like what, 2-3 eps? Criticism aside, I have been loving the tonal shift of season 4, it feels way darker. Hizzie has been serving, Aurora is an excellent addition, and seeing the Mikaelsons should be fun.

Im so up and down with legacies lately except for Hope and Ben and Jed well okay Lizzie and Auroa I don't know why but Aurora seems more put together on legacies and Cleo knowing she's still strong waa really nice don't get me started on Alaric! Anyways I for one don't want Hopes humanity back on but its coming yay lol

Aurora does seem more put together which I feel like is reflective of Lizzie saying Tristan was the problem. Yes, Aurora has mental health issues but the way her brother treated her made them worse.

The clown make you see the worst thing you have done, and even if she has some part in her mom death she did not kill her with her own hands, so i think killing Landon fits in the worst action for her

8:00 when this question gets asked and my tiny bit of knowledge comes in clutch! Yes there is a royalty/licensing thing going on and it’s to do with the actors/actresses not giving legal approval to having there likeness used in this show. Phoebe Tonkin and Joseph Morgan have both stated that they will not appear in Legacies. That means their characters can’t be shown at all unless Julie Plec wants to lose her job and get sued to boot.

wow thanks for the answer -- I knew they both didn't want to come back for an appearance but I can't say I blame them if they don't want their character used at all. I didn't know that's how that works !! Unfortunate that it seems like they ended on bad terrms with the TVDU (at least it seems like Phoebe and Daniel did, not so sure about Joseph)

Actually yes, legally speaking they can't use an actor's image without their permission, even archival stuff. That's why Phoebe got badly photoshopped out of a picture in an early episode of Legacies. They don't have the rights to her likeness. Now granted, other actors from Legacies have actually appeared on Legacies so I don't think they'd have a problem with clips from the Originals featuring them being used if asked, but we know Phoebe specifically is a no.

I am still so upset that they brought Rics character back to life it totally ruined that perfect ending for him. He should of found peace in the other side after a little while. I also don’t like how we haven’t seen hopes full tribrid power like we haven’t seen her go all out. That is because the lack is highly stakes on this show which really sucks. I don’t like that she is this new powerful creature but we haven’t seen her doing anything too out of the ordinary and now she’s relying on the school for help with the gods. The problem I have with Jed and Bens story isn’t just that it’s rushed but that there was no indication of his sexuality being any other than straight. His character just did a whole 180 and if they took the time to build some actual chemistry between the two characters maybe I would like it more but they didn’t. I mean just showing the conversation Jed had with Finch would have made it 1000 times better because it would have shown Jed’s thoughts on this major realization. Anyway I really do love your videos your comments and critics are amazing thanks for sharing your thoughts.

It is not disrespectful to the Mikaelson family that the worst regret for Hope is getting Brandon killed since the Mikaelsons were not just literal monsters they were horrible people, murderers who clearly had no concern for right nor wrong but only prioritized their family without any moral consideration. In contrast, although I am not a Brandon fan, Brandon is a decent man. Actually, it would be disrespectful to the (fictional) families and (fictional) murder victims of the Mikaelsons for Hope to feel that the death of murderers is more important than Brandon's death. And, it is disrespectful to victims of violent crimes and their families, in real life, to say the same thing; That the deaths of a family of murderers should be a greater regret than the death of just a normal, do-good-er guy.

it’s supposed to be within the universe and contains characters from the other shows though . . . if they didn’t want to stay true to the stories those characters already had they shouldn’t have tried to piggy back off of the success of the other two shows by using those character.

But they could've shown a memory of her father or her giving her blood to that boy on Originals putting a torget on his back getting him killed. There's also that thing where the last thing she heard about her father was that he hasn't found peace and she's the reason his a peacless dead man because he sacrificed himself to save his daughter from the Hollow. Because Hope didn't want to leave well enough alone and was desperate to be with her father. That she drew the Hollow into herself. Which started a changed of events that caused her her father and uncle.
