Just wanted to say that I really appreciate these non-stream videos. I understand that stream content likely brings in more money but it's so much of a better experience because LSV is really really good at voicing out his thought process in an entertaining way, and this experience is way more interesting than hearing 20 sub acknowledgements and LSV fielding questions about what he's cooking for dinner that night. That stuff is great live but they take away from the experience in draft videos like this, which are faster, tighter, better edited and more informative. These kinds of videos are always awesome and pretty much never a disappointment.
I force twin everytime in vintage and in legacy cube and have literally never gotten all 4 pieces out of the 20 leagues I’ve done it in. What a luck sack 🤣
Only socially? Perhaps it should be legally. Everyone else made pretty fun vods for the M21 streamer event, then LSV dropped a limited vod that had me going "omfg, you sir are glorious".
The problem with the audio being slightly ahead of the video is that you can have a really hard time knowing whether he's predicting what's gonna happen or is the unsynched audio
I mean, watch this Nassif stream from yesterday. It's already on the correct time. Enjoy this lucky bastard rolling on the semis of the modern challenge. www.twitch.tv/videos/649706240?t=06h42m13s
The reason why he's never punished is because we don't get to see when he is. It looks like he has superpowers and draws exactly what he needs but that's because he gets to pick and choose what to upload.
@@pairot01 someone didn't watch the 0-1 eliminations he posted. He only posts interesting stuff, yes. But interesting draft decks are a reason to watch. So yeah, he posted ton of that style when the deck was good.
Why does using it on an oblivion ring make it better than using it on any other good target? U end up with a great permanent and killing their best thing. If u just target their best thing with it, u get the same outcome. I don’t understand what’s so extra special about using it on oblivion ring type cards. It’s actually kinda worse because now u have ur own oblivion ring which can be destroyed for them to get back what u exiled, as opposed to just using fractured normally where they can’t undo the exile.
@@bumpasaurus487 More card advantage, you're dealing with Oblivion Ring and another permanent. You'd need your exiled permanent to be better than whatever you'll be exiling with the O-Ring though.
@@pairot01 Oblivion Ring only keeps your nonland permanent in exile for as long as it remains on the battlefield. If you exile it with Fractured Identity, your permanent comes back.
I don't get the scoop at 41:37. He could have survived on 1 hp and made his own Elesh Norn. He would still need to topdeck something to deal with Wildwood, but if he did then the match would be winable.
anday3456 he has 3 mana left in that scenario, so if he draws anything 3 or less to deal with the token or wildwood left, he could survive. Tho yes, fractured on elesh alone he still just barely loses, cause opponent is left with 2 attacking 1 power creatures.
Deceiver exarch doesn’t win the game on the spot, but he would probably win with it the next turn. Because they all will have negative-1 power from elesh. But he could make a million -1/2 deceivers to block with. Then he has to activate Kiki at combat to tap down the flying goose. Then following turn he can exile the elesh and prob win. But opponent could potentially stop him or win in that last turn with something.
@@simonerizzo1018 tbf LSV also said he disagrees with keeping it, it seemed like a more when creating content and not really playing for anything do what is fun not what is right. If legacy cube were somehow a pro-tour event he snap mulls.
Match 2 game 2 is a punt right? He can survive the attack after Elesh Norn and go to 1. Then fractured Identity Elesh Norn on the next turn. Not a great position at one life, but if the aggro deck can't answer the Norn next turn he's probably got it.
That last match was HUGELY disappointing. He had a great deck, you had basically a modern deck, I wanted to see the rest Also not that you'll ever read this, but was there no consideration to bringing in supreme verdict against the green deck?
So how upset was gabby about totaly ignoring lady atarka when playing sneak and karkas, with sheldock. They game even asked you if you wanted a late pick red/green dual land,.
