Mr Stine I used to mess about with a guitar in my youth but never really got anywhere. I stumbled on your videos 2 months ago and here I am 18 years later with a new guitar, amp, and I'm really enjoying it again. Thank You Sir.

Great lesson Steve. I find this also helps with rhythm because you can feel the beat when you do this. Cheers Steve.

I'm hoping you have a video that can help me. I love all these workout videos etc, however it feels like I've gotten something totally wrong with palm muting. Especially when I try to alternate pick while palm muting, my wrist and right hand tenses up completely, even when going much slower than I can without palm muting. Is this just because my wrist is in terrible shape, or could I be doing something wrong? Thanks!

It takes time to develop the muscles and tendons, BUT you can always stretch before you practice, and always make sure your approach (sitting properly, guitar angle and height, elbow angle, wrist angle, etc) are at their most comfortable positions for what you are trying to do.
