Two of the best ever I watch them growing up as a kid in New York. So cool to see them both still here. Thanks for posting this.

Growing up, my friend was Clyde and I was the Pearl!

"...He had all the individual accolades, but he didn't have that" (Clyde flashes that Chip ring) I hope Barret, Quickley, Toppin and the rest of the team returning next season, hear that line. If today's Knicks truly understood the legacy of greatness that's been left for them to thrive in, I think playing for the Knicks would take on a whole new meaning and hopefully inspire them to greatness.

Have Elvin Hayes on your show. How many surviving players can say they played against Russell,Wilt,Kareem,Lanier,Willis, and Walton?…..oh and don’t forget Nate!

Interesting that you mentioned Elvin Hayes. As a kid, we heard rumors that there were supposed to be 3 trades that summer. Mike Riorden & Stallworth for Earl the Pearl; Cazzie Russell for Jerry Lucas ; Clyde for Elvin Hayes (Reed was still hurt) The first 2 trades went through, but Knicks held off on trading Clyde.

Another hollow-at-the-core interview by Rashad. No substance. You have two great, great players and you get nothing from them except fanboy stuff. It's like all the crap he did with Jordan; he was so busy sucking up to him that there was nothing to his interviews.
