Dewbacks are also great to bring with palp because relentless and speed 1 or 2 with spur. Something to remove suppressions comes in handy.

I bought that model and the imperial guards just for painting purposes. I need to go back and some more details now that I think I’ve improved as a painter

Would love to see this kind of breakdown for more units in the future. Maybe even talk a bit about what a unit would need to have fixed to become better. Thinking mostly about Grievous there, sure he is cheep right now but i think he should do a bit more, maybe getting back up with cost therefore

I forgot that once you gain enough suppression to panic your turn ends immediately, good info! I want to see someone succeed with Palp without using the 1 pip. Maybe it’s not so bad. Or at least not using it the 4 times.

As a novice, I feel like pairing Palpatine with operative Vader is a no brainer. You get a faster Darth Vader and you can always use a second commander, like Krennic, to supplement Palpatine''s effectiveness. Thanks so much for clarifying the possibilities.

Love papa palpatine, and he was on sale on miniature market, but I missed it 😢.

Palpy is one of my favorite just for the fun of it commanders. I love putting him in the Palpy Mobile (grav tank) and just electrocuting from it's moderate safety! Friends hate it though xD

20:16- And since he is just soooooo slow it’s way easier to take him out well before he gets into range 2 of anyone. Let alone his intended target!!!

fairly sure if you gain suppression in a units turn, after its rally step you wont panic and end your turn if you get double or more suppression. you simple wont count for scoring objectives or drop an objective. i believe you only end your turn if you are panic after your rally step. open to being wrong thou.

Palpatine is very strong. I think je is particularly good in the current meta as he hasn't been played a lot and can catch your opponent flat footed. I had someone play hos teo pip on my whwn i plaued Bossk's 3 pip it was sad times 😂. A point of clarification the panic step happens after rally any additional suppression you give yourself during your models activation doesn't rick that, this was to keep rulesblike conpel and dauntless from being useless on lower courage units.

I know, I know! I’ve already commented a lot on just this video! And also my comments are from different days as well! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched/ listened to this video so far….. but this time makes at least 3!?! But I normally just pick a new video or a full playlist and hit play while I’m painting! And sometimes the same video is on different playlists. But also if it’s a good playlist like the one I’m on right now, I like to listen to it multiple times to kinda try to burn the information I get into my brain! But I’m surprised I didn’t notice this any other time (but if I did and already commented on it, then sorry about that! I did go down the list of comments and I didn’t see it! But I didn’t really have time to scan through all of them) but I just realized that you said in the “whole game” and not “for the Empire” at 1:38 time stamp!?! He’s not the most experienced character “in the whole game”!?! Yoda beats him! Yoda is still 200pts as far as I know! Now, if you were talking about his original points, then yes…. I just thought it was funny that I didn’t notice or I forgot about that!

9:22- For anyone that doesn’t have these yet, but are interested these tokens are awesome!!! I love them so much!!! They look great (even though a few of the green ones are kinda confusing) and feel great. And since each one has a little weight to it, you feel more in the game! They are a little pricey and I also ordered 2 full sets. But unless you play a lot of 1,600 point games or higher (like I love to do) then you only really need 1 set of each!!! So if you are on the fence about these here is your second opinion! I don’t get anything for saying this, I don’t get paid by anything SWL (I wish lol) so this is just my actual opinion and not influenced by anything other than how I truly love these tokens!!! I don't play this game, but I think palp with Imp guards sounds like it should be stronger that it is.

I like Palps! But the only time I’m ever playing with him I am clearly NOT playing a 800pts game!!! Grand army only! I would love to see a lightsaber Palps though!?! Empire, maybe! Separatist, definitely a good idea!!! But he has to be no less than speed 2!!!

19:31- This is definitely one of my favorite order cards in possibly the whole game if not just for the Empire!!! And if I have Palps in my army (which I rarely do for 800pts games nowadays! Most only if I’m playing a 1,600pts game or higher) then I definitely have this card in my hand! And honestly, the whole thing about having too many suppressions is kinda unnecessary. Because I he has been attacked that many times by that point then he probably only has 1 or 2 more wounds left….. 3 at max! So therefore it wouldn’t be smart to use this ability. And unless you are trying to kill Palps intentionally then if you are that close to the enemy then you already have a bunch of panic tokens on him then using this action is very reckless! Unless like I said, you ARE trying to kill him……. for some God odd reason!?! But also this is another reason why I think he should have a way higher health and if he did the the 190-200pts would almost be worth it! Right now though, he’s not!!!

New to Legion, for Palp’s “pulling the strings” ability, doesn’t it specify that it needs to be a “trooper unit?” You used an example of using that on Boba Fett, but isn’t he a different special type of unit and not a trooper?

Im game. I love X-Wing but never bought into Armada. With them picking up a lot of the old FFG employees, mark me as very interested. I was always tempted by Armada but this could fit that slot since Armada seems to be dead. At this point, my favorite game (X-Wing) is too. Im still a bit salty about it lol.

8:03- One thing I did learn incorrectly is that Palps doesn’t have a lightsaber and therefore cannot use saber throw! Lol I know it’s kinda dumb for me to get that confused!?! But it’s as dumb as having a Sith Lord… a Dark Lord of the Sith and ruler of the galaxy not having a lightsaber!!! I know in the original trilogy he never used a lightsaber but in no way does that mean he doesn’t have one! Because a more powerful Sith could be taken down from a lesser if he was unarmed (no lightsaber)! And when you actually put any thought really into it at all (like pretty much any real SW fan does) then that would make Darth Vader seem lame and somewhat lazy because he never thought of taking over the Sith line by taking out his unarmed master?!? I could go on about how Palps could fight back. But also how Vader could possibly block and counter pretty much anything Palps could dish out but that would make this comment insanely longer and I bet people are already going to cry about how long this is already!!! But one last thing, 5 health for the Emperor is very sad! Not kinda sad, very sad!!!

I know I’m old but is discord a separate app? Or is it something that you have to be on your browser for? I really don’t know!?! I’ve heard “discord 100s of times throughout here, facebook and Instagram but no one has ever followed that up by explaining anything about it or where any of that would be!!! And like everyone should already know but you will never learn anything if you don’t ask questions!!! Just saying

19:56- Now, I know this card is good….. but I don’t think it’s as good as your saying it is!?! Unless you know something about it that I don’t?!? Your saying that you can take out 200pts worth?!? I would say that the only way you could do that much damage is one of those 1 in a million possibilities! Where everything has to go right for you and nothing goes right for your opponent! And not in just 1 rounds! Multiple rounds!!! Best case scenario, you take out the 1 unit you were aiming for. But then he dies the next round. And there isn’t really many characters that are 200pts now! So once again, unless you know something I don’t and/or I’ve been playing this card 100% wrong this whole time I don’t see that happening?!?

28:32- Um, what?!? How is a Tesla in any form cool?!? Let alone a “Tesla tank”? And how is that tank that for some odd reason producers no protection what so ever to those inside it like a Tesla? It doesn’t drive itself! You have to use a action to make it more or do anything else!?! And I’m pretty sure there is nothing else that you could use to compare it to a Tesla!?! So besides the fact that you actually like Teslas or because that was just the first car company that you thought of while talking about this I see no other comparisons!?! I did buy this tank when I first started playing Legion. But that was before I found out that it didn’t protect those inside of it and I didn’t know how slow it was as well!!! But I did find out all of that before I waisted that much time building and painting it!!! So that’s one positive! That and I have used parts of it for other things. Like one was I used the tracks to put track markings in the ground, dirt and other terrain! I can explain how if someone actually wants to know!?! But if not then it’s all good! I know there is probably some way to make the tank useful in the game! But I haven’t seen it nor have I ever used it to learn!?!
