Legitimately HUGE Meta Quest 3 Updates! 

you should add chapters to your videos! it makes it so much easier for viewers to click back through your video and rewatch certain aspects again without having to scroll through the whole video and find the segments

This update actually has a bunch of useful features I'd take advantage of. Kudos to Meta.

Passthrough improvement news are great. That is a feature that gets people excited when they try the headset on.

I have an issue using hand tracking along with the Pro controllers on my Q3. If I have hand tracking on when I first put my headset on it doesn't track either my controllers or hands. I have to restart the headset to get my controllers to register.

Any news about MIXED REALITY CAPTURE which was supposedly broken on the Quest 3?

I just can't believe how long it took them to add the ability to hide apps. I have like 1300 things on my quest 3. this is going to be heaven

I'm not sure why we don't have the ability to offload games onto external storage devices yet I would like to download my games and put the ones I don't use onto a flash drive or a large SSD

We need the ability to pair two right controllers. I have two right controllers, one for my golf accessory and one for normal use. I have to pair and unpair to be able to use both.

Maybe not the best idea to highlight Golf+ as a game to utilise the background music 'new' feature, as it's had native Spotify support for about 2 years now!

we finally got background music, but it astonishes me, that the app browser still looks and feels like an ancient relict from the 90s. Yes, you can hide apps now, but you cannot sort them individually and put them into folders or something similar. The whole user interface is way behind of what VR should look and feel like in 2024.

When are the gonna fix the issue where if you have two accounts on one quest you have to download the games twice for each account. This is driving me mad as there no need to do this and space is already tight.

This might be the very first time I saw them put in updates that I actually care about and would enjoy. 👌

I like the regular updates/upgrades from Meta, but have you heard ANY scuttle about an update to allow us to CATEGORIZE our games/apps into ‘folders’ of our choice…like all FPS into its own ‘folder’, HORROR into its own…etc? THIS is something that I feel IS WAY PAST DUE. Organizing our games/apps will absolutely streamline our experience and I believe the option should be a necessary option.

Being able to hide games/apps is great. However, why can’t I just permanently delete a game?!?!?!? Is it really totally gone?!?!?

Well Netflix is not on the top of my list to have - I am not a member to Netflix anymore. Looking forward to the improved Pass Through. I am only on V65 at this time. I don't need background music. The Wrist buttons looks cool to try. I am single, so kids supervision is not an issue for me. And looking forward in trying some of the other features.

I really wish I didn't have to look at everything on a cuved browser window. And as long as you can't position the windows more freely, and there's only a completely darkened full-screen mode, I think what meta is doing is half-baked at best.

Add passthrough with Link Cable, or air link... How about audio thru link?? two things that have been lost with the latest updates! While I'm Biotching.... How about the ability to turn off guardians borders... FINALLY !!!! Make it for Admins or parental only.. dont care... but these are serious issues for many, many people!!

A few days ago I wrote in a comment section how the midrunner game is cool and all but wihout background music or ingame radio its really bland. Now they introduce background music with v66. Sometimes I am glad they spy us out over our devices. 😂

Yeah. It becomes slowly better and better. Slowly. Fkg slowly. Probably the Quest 4 will come out with an OS capable of what is the minimum requirement of the users. How the Quest 3 should have came out. I like it, I don't say. Just things like "no background music", "no hud mode windows", "Nth enhancement of the passthrough is a bit less sh@te" and etc. make the experience a bit "choppy" from the end user perspective. (Still I don't know better.)

If Meta announced VR Gaming & Mixed Reality wireless(And wired) Compatibility with XBOX Series X to get the same horse power as the PSVR2 is getting from PS5 i'd be over the moon. Seriously needs to happen, instead of being stuck with tablet graphics in stand alone.

Alot of uninformed people think the Quest 3s is a upgrade from the Quest 3, its not!

Can one put the Quest 3 to sleep and have it automatically download and execute updates? That would be nice. I don't use it as much but almost every time I do use it, I have to sit there for a while waiting for the latest update to download and run. Would be nice if this could just happen on it's own.

Most of that is focused towards Meta's walled garden standalone stuff, which is meh at best. They need to unlock the USB-C and allow third parties like VD to cable tether. Either that or do a complete overhaul of Meta link, because its unoptimized garbage in its current state. App will literally eatup 3-4 gigs of vram by itself while doing pretty much nothing.

Next time it is not that huge update please, don’t say it is
