LEGO Arctic 6575 Polar Base - Unboxing and Review 2000 

Very nostalgic set and series for me. From 97-02 my parents used to get me an entire series of my choice for Christmas and the Aquazone, Johnny Thunder, Rock Raiders, Alpha Team and Arctic series were my favorites behind Star Wars.

Love sets from the year 2000 ish!

I had this as a kid! Was one of the best best sets I ever got as a kid.

Some parts in orange in this are rather rare, such as the 2x2 45-degree outside corner brick, which only came in two other standard sets after this in 2003. The 1x6x5 roof tile in blue also came in a bulk bricks tub (4679) in '05, and wasn't seen again until this year's police station (60316).

I Love the Arctic line because it's so nostalgic to me. i loved Lego Racers 2 and it brought me to Love themes like Arctic, life on Mars, town, Dino Island and Racers. I actually begann to Collect Sets that are showed in Lego Racers 2 because ist fun to have them in real life too !
