LEGO City Update - Bricksburg 3.0 - rebuilding my LEGO City layout. LEGO Creator, City, trains, modulars, MOCs, LEGO Lighting, Ninjago, Harry Potter, mountains and design thoughts.
I like your lego city the best of almost any I’ve seen on youtube. It is detailed but not so large that you get lost in it. I like the layers and depth you’re creating without having gone so large you need to access it thru a trap door in the middle.
Maybe it’s the best Legocity I’ve ever seen - very impressive work. The Ideas with the different levels and the facades make it very unique and it looks and feels so much more realistic than other bigger citys. Great job - thx for sharing that!
Your city continues to be simply awesome. It is your channel that has inspired my own attempt, even if I only have a 4x7 "32" baseplate area to work with! I'm ruthlessly imitating your elevated street with trains underneath to cram in as much action as possible! With such limited space at my disposal your facade idea is brilliant. The cheeky question: you mentioned an instagram featuring skyscrapers but I could not catch the name - who was that? Meanwhile, the work you present here is so cool - I'm such a fan!
City is looking great and you should definitely try to build a train line from the city too Hogwarts so students can get to the castle and can you do a video showing the trains running around your layout and for the viaduct you should definitely try to include bits of train track on it with a small sign that. Tells Minifogures about what the space used to be
Wow the changes make a big difference. Great work! I think is nice you take the time from your busy schedule to not only work /play 😄 on your Lego city but share with us. It is always important to balance life with what gives us joy. Thank you. You are an inspiration.
Great city, I love the mountains and the tunnel.. I’m starting my own city it’s still bare, but tables and storage are sorted.. seem to be finding inspiration in all the right places, your city is in my top five favourites... awesome work 👍
I love how you layer your city. It is multi-level and the facades add so much depth. I would like see more details on your Hogwarts and how many sets it took to make it mini-fig scale. Nice work! In model railroading you can print, download images online or buy your own images for your windows (bedrooms, offices, storefronts) to add even more depth to your facades. Also typically odd number of trees may help break up the continuity between the city and Hogwarts.
Great update! Always fantastic to see your city 😊 Can I suggest something? Where you have built the trees to seperate the city from Hogwarts, I would build in a broken down tower, that has fallen into disrepair over time. This could tie the two areas together, and also tie in the full tower at the front of the display. The retaining wall could join in with the stepped area of the trees to again bring it all together. Suspect that the trees need to be separated though because of the need to access under the city?
Awesome city man! I like you're layout. I am struggling with space to build my city. What is the length and width of your city, if you don't me asking.
Thank you! Yes, it is three baseplates deep so just under 3’. The length is I’d guess maybe 20-25’ long. Elevating the city was a huge space saver if you want to run trains.
