Great tutorial! I finally got around to ordering the parts to build this fabulous design. Thanks for breaking down how you design this and I can’t wait to start adding this technique to my city. Keep up the good work and I’ll look forward to your next update!

Illegal connections? Even if you stack bricks without them overlapping it’s still a legal connection, but it will not be as sturdy. Right?
@MrBookieboo
@MrBookieboo 5 лет назад
That’s a fair point. It’s illegal in my anal retentive mind, not officially 😂

Nice you should build a hole in the wall like part of it has collapsed and have something sticking out of it
@MrBookieboo

That’s a good idea!

On the row with the cheese slopes, what is behind them on that row for bricks? are they 1x6 bricks or do you use some other combination for that back row?
@MrBookieboo
@MrBookieboo 5 лет назад
It’s a 1x6 behind the cheese slopes

@@MrBookieboo Great, thank you so much. Love your city and modular retaining walls.. very handy when trying to get behind them to adjust/add wiring.

You are lucky to have the green grocer modular set, there are no good reviews for it so I would appreciate it if you did one

I’m a new subscriber, glad that RU-vid recommended your channel to me. I really like the details and explanations of techniques you use. I’ve been working on a smaller Lego City for 5 years and your work is beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration.

Did you add an elevator near the stair case ? Amazing tips on how to create the wall, any chance of doing a quick tutorial on how you built the steps leading down from the city to the platform and also the elevator if that is one, it's positioned at the rear end of the train 60051 - thanks !!

great video, starting a city myself and really like your wall, so this tutorial was a blast :) Better start saving for those 1 by 2's. Ps how did you make that cross in the wall? It's a nice touch aswell
@MrBookieboo
@MrBookieboo 5 лет назад
The cross is a technique I found online. You use 1x1s with the stud on the side and cheese slopes facing inward. It’s tough to describe. I’ll try to snap a pic and post on Instagram.

This has inspired me to start planing my first lego City. You show that you can make really nice city in a limited space. Soon i wil place the order for a ton of grey bricks on bricklink,

Thoughts on the new modular? Must say I'm a little underwhelmed

Glad to see I more or less managed to backwards engineer what you had done for the wall in my city a couple of months ago (but I did give you a shout out for the design). 😃
@MrBookieboo
@MrBookieboo 5 лет назад
Thank you 🙂. It’s a pretty simple technique but I’ve gotten so many requests to see how it’s constructed.
