I've been in this fandom for over a year, and I'll admit that this LEGO series is just wonderful! The Monkie Kid community is very cool and nice in its own way ^^' I'm from Polish and I know that many people from my country like "Monkie Kid", some LEGO channels even deal with the subject of "MK" such as BrickQ (BTribute) or Hexagonek. I'm glad that a lot of people are in this fandom, and I hope that the "LMK" series will reach more countries!

Woah, I had no idea that Monkie Kid was popular in Poland! That's incredibly cool. I agree, I'm so glad to see so many people in this fandom (I don't think many other original LEGO themes after Ninjago have had such a strong following in such a short time) and it would definitely be cool if LMK reached more countries!

The animation for this show is better than anything I've ever seen, I wish more shows were like this one, it's got such a good story, the characters are all super like-able, and it's so chaotic and comedic I love it!!! I've rewatched the show sooooo many times by now, I can't get enough of it!!

I absolutely adore Monkie Kid and Macaque is one of my favorite characters. May Billy Kametz rest in peace and I hope Alejandro continues to do good job as Macaque’s new voice actor. I love the fights and the art style is gorgeous. I also love the expressions on the characters. I learned about this show last year and I was instantly hooked. Was able to get caught up shortly after I learned about it and I have probably about 20 OCs for the show lol. I’ve got a couple of sets and am getting two more soon. The sets are amazing. I hope more people watch it cause it’s a truly great show.

As someone who’s a big fan of Ninjago, I love watching Monkie Kid! The animation is gorgeous and the characters are all loveable I honestly didn’t believe this show even exist! Like your telling me there’s a new Lego show that’s actually animated and feels like an anime?? I would never believe it and I’m so glad I’m watching it

So I am a huge Ninjago fan and have been trying to figure out monkie kid and have thought about buying some of its sets but man this video is absolutely incredible. Your story telling in this video is really good as well. This video truly did make me think twice about MK and how good of a theme it can be.

I just got back into Lego about a year ago & while I started out with some of my favorite childhood themes like Ninjago, Ultra Agents, & Agents, I was attracted to Monkie Kid because I really liked Mei’s color scheme of white & translucent bright green. So, I got all 4 of her sets. I just got into watching the show recently & I really liked it. It was a lot different than Ninjago which was nice. It was quite hard to find to the show but it prompted me to get more of the sets like the Dragon of the East, Flower Fruit Mountain, & Monkie Kid’s Galactic Explorer. I’m excited to see where this theme goes in the future because while I may not get every set, I’m definitely going to keep getting all of Mei’s sets because I enjoy that color scheme.

My friend introduced me to this show in 2021 and i LOVE it soooo much😍 From the characters to their voice actors ( *rip legend billy* ), beautiful scenery and references to people who read the journey to the west, and their plot and sets! Now that season 4 is out, i am excited for the special and how it will affect the characters! Especially poor MK😭

Sadly i don't have any ideas, but honestly, for any kind of video including voiceover videos like this one, I'd just recommend you talk about a subject that really excites you or you're really interested in. If you have to force being interested about a subject, it'll be a lot less interesting rather than a subject you are interested in talking about.

I really think the Monkie Kid sets look great but I feel accessibility is an issue, there's nothing stopping Lego from releasing sets in normal retail stores. Still, really great video!

No, I didn’t even know anything about journey to the west until I watched the show, so you don’t need to know the myth before watching it to understand it. The show already explains enough but if you want more accurate information on the real story behind then you can read the journey to the west

I always hate Lego animation because they are all slow and boring until I saw Lego monkie kid for the first time and I was in total shock that it was a 2D animated series and it was awesome. Flying Bark Studio is something special because of their work on TMNT and Lego, I hope I could do awesome animation like flying bark studio.

I don’t really see how mk is a ninjago clone I can’t see the similarities apart from kinda being Asian themes also I had literally NO idea Sokka’s voice actor plays Mk he sounds really different (to me) and I love that he’s trying even slightly different voices he does an amazing job with Mk

I liked the series from the first chapter that I saw it (the trailer rather) and I really like the story and the characters and each time the series is more interesting and brings better characters 😍(but in my country they don't bring any lego sets monkey kid)😔

Now that I’m back into lego I’m thinking of giving the show a chance as for the sets….I really don’t know I mean it’s bad enough that I’m trying to buy those overpriced lego castle fantasy era sets….and some 2009 lego pirate sets….I really don’t understand why people are charging more then they are actually worth for retired lego sets! See why i can’t bring in new bionicle fans in 2024
