I hope so!! Even if it just goes for $40 + shipping two years from now I'm still good with that when you add in the value of 2X VIP points, the X-Wing Polybag, and the coin.

I've got 2 flowerpots I'm holding mine for a year or 2, I think the deathstar will be a good investment too

@@DJTXD123 Longterm, I think the DSII has the potential to sell for up to $100 after a few years. Should get at least $50 though. Flowerpot, on the other hand, I believe is going to be in that $50 range. I see very little growth potential for the flowerpot set. SW collectors though go ape on what they will pay to get an out of production set, so that’s why I think the DSII will outperform the flowerpot as a long term hold.

@@EchoBaseplates agree on deathstar, flowers look like they'll be a huge line for the future, the flowerpot has a great build and box art so I van see it hitting £75 (uk) in a year or two and for a free set that's awesome

When the flower pot came out, I was tempted. My plan was always to get the May 4th promotions, but the flow pot promotion with stacking the GWP's was very tempting!! Nice to see your already making money off of it!!

​@@thecollectorinvesting The reason why that stack with the flower pot might have been better, is that I believe the May 4th coin at the $80 or so dollar spend, will be a long term dud. Really wish they would have done a unique minifigure in a polybag. The Republic Fighter tank is the one set that makes sense here , because if for some reason, the Death Star doesn't go over $50, then it's pretty much a 20% discount after expenses on that $150 spend, which you can get on almost any set, minus that Target exclusive Republic Fighter Tank. It's too bad the 5x is only in stores, but even then it may be more of a marketing traffic idea to get people out in the stores, because they may not have huge quantities of 5x sets from what I'm hearing. Hopefully, they become more plentiful as deliveries come this week. The Trooper Helmet is not in the same league as previous helmets, but with the stacking it almost becomes $40, & I don't see it selling below $100 in 18 months.

@@thecollectorinvesting the ambush on ferrix set has tempted me but I've already spent too much this month :/

brickeconomy.com has it listed as "Retiring Soon" and in the US it's still available on lego.com so I'm assuming it will retire sometime in the next 4 months.
