The FreeCAD Path workbench can't do wire-bending...yet. Maybe we can start the process. This is the introduction to a short series of videos I'm making about turning my big dumb robot into a big dumb wire bender.
I've had a NEMA34 stepper with harmonic reducer head kicking around that I have slated for a wire bending head like the "normal" wire bender you posted. I'll be following the software and path solutions you come up with.
Hi. Iam luthier and I works actually to make a bender for wire. I use actually lra to xyz converter to create my gcode but It could be nice to have this directly in freecad !
