This week we are reviewing Lenovo’s single socket P510 ThinkStation workstation. The P510 is the successor to Lenovo’s P500 ThinkStation. It offers the same sleek industrial design that hasn’t changed from the previous generation, and is still ISV certified to support professional-grade software for applications in engineering, architecture, film, and finance to name a few. The specifications for this system are remarkably similar to the P500, but there are some differences, which we will share in this video.

Love the P500 and P510 chassis. It's built like a tank. Xeon v5(8ç16t or more) is still quite decent in 2021. But unless you can get a second hand one at a good price or you really need ECC ram for your workloads, a Intel Gen 10/11 or Ryzen 2/3 new built is much better in most aspects.

runing this chasis for 6 years with xeon 1680 v4/64gb ram for pro 3d game related stuff (with silly 1080 ti;)... , and with it's original windows! never failed me;) the only minus of this chasis is the power supply and it's cables:( if you guys want to put modern gpu inside...prepare for psu change, witch is quite hard (not easy acces to more powerful ones) it's build like a tank and it's quite heavy peace of hardware:) weak point is the lever for the side pannel - mine broke 3rd year
