Leonard Comforts Sheldon | The Big Bang Theory 

Leonard and Sheldon were always like brothers. This scene is sweet, just like the scene when Sheldon was desperately trying to invent new medical complications from which Leonard could die during his planned surgery, to discourage Leonard from going through with it. That's how afraid Sheldon was of losing Leonard! He also confirmed his brotherly love for Leonard to Penny, so it wasn't about inconvenience, it was about feelings. Just like when Sheldon said to Penny 'Please, don't hurt my friend'. Sheldon loved Leonard as much as Leonard loved him, but for Sheldon, who was never open about his feelings and couldn't express them as well as other people, it was simply harder to admit, that's why we didn't see this often on the show, or it was there between the lines, not obvious. So many people in this fanbase don't see it!

Leonard truly loved Sheldon. He was literally always there when he needed Sheldon needed him.

Leonard and Sheldon loved each other like brothers, and throughout the show, they BOTH demonstrated concern and affection towards each other, multiple times! The only ones who always hate on it, are people who simply still don't understand how the writing for TV works, and how it works in the very specific genre that sitcom is.

Underrated bromance

Sheldon reminds me of Vulcans. Just because they don’t express emotions doesn’t mean they don’t feel them.

The fact that he named his son Leonard 🥲❤️

Let’s give a shout out to the writers of this show. Good writing plus good acting gives depth to the characters, but also allows their quirks to hold the show together from a comedic standpoint.

Sheldon has his priorities in line. I respect that.

Scenes like this are genuinely great and truly show how rhe show should’ve been written in the later seasons. It’s why the inconsistent writing for Sheldon in the last half of the series is so annoying. They just had to keep writing him as an a hole who doesn’t value his friends….then he does the next episode
