Yeah, I agree as a matter of fact, I think John saw Christopher Walken's Performance as Captain Hook in NBC's Peter Pan, said "Hold My Ouzo and Grappa, Challenge Accepted"
I felt bad for him but I TOTALLY understood it. So something I would do in the excitement of the moment. It came across as endearing even though it was goofy.
When I heard he had this role, I was all “wow that’s kind of minor” and then bam. He went and made this the best performance of the whole thing. Show stealer. 😂
I love that the audience kinda participates of the numbers with different props!!! also this number was actually really fun I died with the seasoning ahahaha I wish I could attend such a production, this looks like a really fun live experience!!
They left this song out of Little Mermaid, they left "Be Prepared" out of Lion King... it's like they scoured the internet to figure out what everyone's favorite, most memorable parts were and decided, "You know what? Let's subvert expectations and make it our own for the modern era." Said people making these decisions should be fired from Disney IMO
Eather they chose what songs wer more popular or they threw out songs considered inapropriate or reasons like rasist or whatever. People are just too easily ofended these days. As far as be prepared I don't see how that song could ever be considered inapropriate. Manny great parts in movies are cut for budget but that's what ruins good movies.@@SomeRU-vidTraveler
They left "Les Poissons" (One of the funniest songs in Disney history) out, yet they threw in that abominable new ear- rape of a song "The Scuttlebutt." What in God's name were they thinking?
This is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen😂. The kid drowning in that crab costume and then Stamos pelting the audience with spaghetti? C’est magnifique!🤣
I read an article saying this song won't be in the new Little mermaid movie. It's not important to the plot (subplot of chef chasing Sebastian) but nice comic relief.
The only problem is the chef has a sailor's tongue. We don't need him talking like a sailor on a children's movie. Then again, he swore very little to none on masterchef junior.
I recently played Lumiére in Beauty and the Beast and let me tell you this, it was HARD to suppress the urge to sing this song instead of Be Our Guest, like it was an actual LEGIT challenge.
I'll be honest. When I heard John Stamos got this role I was skeptical. He's better at this than I imagined, but he's still no patch on the late Rene Auberjonois.
John Stamos as Chef Louis was ze creme de la crab! He did awesome job! I loved the choreographed battle with the crabs and the chefs! I love the audience interaction as well! Too bad they didn’t have Shaggy on the stage leading the attack because it would’ve made it 10 times funnier to have seen these two go hand to claw! Lol! Also loved his I should’ve played King Albert! 🤣🔪🧂🐟👨🏻🍳⚔️🦀🎼❤️🖤
He is way more excited and passionate in this. It started looking crazy when they fought giant lobsters but you gotta love that. John did a fantastic job.
In Remembrance to - René Auberjonois voice role as Chef Louis (Born: June 1, 1940 - Died: December 8, 2019) - Samuel E. Wright voice as Sebastian (Born: November 20, 1946 - Died: May 24, 2021)
Great job John. I actually forgot that he's done signing in his past. And I think that he was feeling this part more so now than he would have in Full House days b/c he is a father now.
I think it was a mistake to CUT this song (from the original film) in the new remake. They also changed the verses in poor unfortunate souls (yes I noticed). Just saw it yesterday. Halle Bailey was great though.
Lolllllll the things I get recommend lol I love this made me laugh so much jajaja I always loved this scene in the movie xD 😂🤣 well I love the movie in general but I always love at this scene jajaja and seeing this with a little twist it's so funny I love it
I seen Mr. Stamos years ago at Disneyland and my cousin and I waited for him to get off space mountain and asked for a picture w him. He was a sweetheart. Adorable. Gorgeous! Ahhh of course he would be a part of this. I love it.
