Edit- Dreamcatcher's some love is a song about self acceptance and being yourself and even has an adlib referring to their colour being a rainbow.

They support the lgbt community so much. Yoohyeon said many times that she likes people, doesnt care about gender also often she waves lgbt flags, wears pride clothing. Siyeon's stans are called wives and she is called husband many times..... They dont change pronouns if a cover they do is about a female lover. Welcome to the Dreamworld! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 (And yes, they always support LGBTQ+ and even don't change the pronouns when the cover a song about a female lover). Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song? Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point. Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger!

This group has a big LGBTQIA Plus following within their fandom. None of the members identify as part of the community, but they are aware of this and are very supportive of their fans, no matter how they identify. Their discography is 100 percent gender neutral, when doing covers they don't change the pronouns even in the case the focus of the song is a female lover, and when asked outright if they are supportive of LGBTQIA Plus rights, they don't hesitate to give their support. Also, I've been a part of the fandom (InSomnia) for 5 years now and I can say from experience they are not only aware of this but have even been known to cater to it. They wear suits whenever possible and Siyeon calls her female fans 'wifeys.' They feed us constantly, lol. The Dystopia Trilogy consists of three parts: Scream, Boca, and Odd Eye. Scream (Part 1) is the Hear No Evil 🙉part, Boca the Speak No Evil 🙊and Odd Eye the See No Evil 🙈part. They all deal with the evils of the modern world, like cyberbulling, cyber violence, fake personas and fake news. The album that Scream was released, Dystopia: Tree of Language, is probably the best album Dreamcatcher ever released. A perfect 10/10, full of incredible songs and MVs.

Thank you for reacting to Dreamcatcher. They are not the typical K-pop group. Actually, they are really unique, and often considered that they are their own genre. Nothing sounds quite like them. I invite you to check out more songs cause their discography is impeccable and flawless. The rock vibe is their flagship feature and they have been named The Face of Rock in KPop by Rollings Stone India Magazine, and many people believe in that idea. You will never be disappointed if you deep dive. I recommend you watch the Apocalypse trilogy plus Deja Vu.

You weren't entirety wrong to count six members. In "Scream" and "Boca" one of their members (Handong) was absent. She's a Chinese and she stayed in China while there were pandemic travel restrictions. But in "Odd Eye" she was able to join them. Thus, when she returned, girls did a self made MV for a b-side song "Poison Love". The theme of the song: "Everyone loves Handong, even Handong". It would be nice if you can react to the song and see their fun side for yourself (Add'I their self mades have bloopers) And you can add to that "Red Sun", "Break the wall" and "Sahara".

Hey you reacted to the Dystopia trilogy! The order is Scream, BOCA, then Odd Eye. The general theme of the dystopia trilogy is about online harassment. The three songs follow the see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil maxim but not in that exact order. Scream is the POV of the victim of a witch hunt. BOCA is "mouth" in Spanish and is from the POV of a person protecting the victim. Odd Eye is a bit trickier to analyze, I think it's something about looking for a utopia within the digital world and it's basically impossible. TBH I don't follow the lore as much as other fans but it's cool how they go all out with their concepts. Dreamcatcher has a huge discography cuz they've been around since 2017, kind of the older sisters to ATEEZ but from a different company. They started out with a more anime jrock sound then they started experimenting with more EDM and electronic elements starting from the Scream. A good song to react to next is BEcause, it's a standalone concept released after Odd Eye. Their most recent trilogy is the Apocalypse trilogy which is about the climate apocalypse, order goes Maison, Vision, and Bon Voyage. Dreamcatcher is one of the few 3rd generation girl groups that are still very active and releasing at least 2 EPs per year. They're not as big as their contemporaries but they have a very dedicated international fanbase, and often act as the gateway drug to kpop for metalheads. Dreamcatcher experiments with other genres in their bsides (trance, jazz, ballads, city pop) while keeping a rock element in their title tracks. Enjoy!

For a slightly rockish horror/dystopian vibe, I recommend the soloist AleXa. She's from Oklahoma and won the American Song Contest a while back. She's pretty badass and vocal in her support of the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe she took a pride flag from a fan at a concert and ran around with it like "I always wanted to do this" and has since had a flag on all her US (at least) concert. Also, she covered Dove Cameron's "Boyfriend". there's a fan video of that from a concert. She had a storyline in her earlier work, in the order of Bomb, Do or Die, Villain and Revolution. Its slighlty hinted at in her later work as well. She did the song Wonderland in American Song Contest :) Shes kinda as if Dreamcatcher and Mamamoo had a child imo

The dreamcatcher and the insomnia are very LGBTQ friendly at the concerts too... you can throw a LGBTQ flag and the dreamcatcher pick it up without even think twice (just one flag because respect is important) and the interactions between the dreamcatcher is ahem... something 😳. Like the dreamcatcher said you have to be open minded (after said that Siyeon kiss SUA hand) for you to stan them and who knows? Maybe they don't have many koreans fans because of this (apart for the rock music that apparently they don't want on kpop). At the end the dreamcatcher group like to tease the insomnia so much that they make entire choreography for that porpose only (like trouble maker for example but hey! In the future, after you watch DC's "Good Night" MV, check out the five-woman K-rock band Rolling Quartz. They have a great cover of "Good Night", shot on the BOCA Dystopia dance set. The video production company is the same, and there's a lot of overlap among InSomnia (DC fans) and Diadem (RQ fans).
