Thank you very much. I have never heard of Leslie Thomas and after listening to a few minutes, have ordered his autobiographical work from the library. I enjoy the intelligence, humour, and the setting among ordinary Londoners a few decades ago. Increasingly I enjoy stories which use the structure of a detective story to take us through the lives of people in a given setting, especially when there is so much wit, humour, and acute observation
