Johnnie, this was a very nice educative video, again. Unlike in the U.S., universities in Germany usually do not have mascots. (The university of Rostock only has Alma the Owl) Fitting to this Lesson 3, you may take Heinrich Hertz as kind of a mascot, as he first experimentally detected electro magnetic waves on 13th November 1886, when he was working at the university of Karlsruhe.

it is good to use X1 for weak signals in noisy enviroments , so you get better readings ( good for low to mid frecuencies )

no ground Connection is needed when using the 1khz square wave gen for probe adjustment .
