At 3:14, you spoke about waves of players to investigate an overwatch case, at least I can confirm that one demo is sent out to multiple players who start a request at the same time. Once i was with a few friends on a LAN party and we got the same demo on 2 different accounts.

"he would rather risk a ban than lose to a cheater". I can relate to this. I grew up with older brothers that had the same stubborn mindset and it rubbed off on me. An example would be when my brother was in high-school and someone was cheating off his multiple choice test, he then started to chose the wrong answers on purpose to 'teach him a lesson'. It was only recently that I personally dropped this mindset, sucked it up and learned to deal with it.

What you said about cheaters thinking too highly of themselves at 5:47 is really interesting. Forsaken, who recently got caught for cheating, also defended himself by saying that "It gave me a slight advantage over my natural aiming".

I was in a game similar to the last one in the video. Our top fragger would not stop talking about how good he was and how he could take us all in a 1v4. But when someone on the other team started to do better he toggled rage hacks. So we all took turns killing him round after round until he left. It was strange because I usually see cheaters have a friend with them.

I don’t say this often, but I love the way you think, and it’s why I follow your 3 channels. I wish you all the best in life.

I take offence to "fiddling about with his weapons" being a bad thing. One of the (admittedly very, very insignificant) things I like about Counter-Strike is that you can mess with your guns and roll your mouse wheel to swap weapons at the speed of sound. It's oddly satisfying, like a fidget-cube or something. I actually notice when games *don't* have it because I do it so much.

that afk team thing happened to me once except it was a hacker on the other team somehow manipulating the server so that he was the only one able to move and the 9 other players in the game were stuck in a laggy state unable to properly aim or move around giving him free kills round after round in our spawn. (perhaps a lag switch.)

The other side of it, vac net was set to flag matches for over watch like 3 years ago. That's why rank boosting shows up, it goes "send it to overwatch, 5 rounds moves instead of being afk, gets 5 kills in each". I get a new overwatch within seconds of finishing my last case. People have shared tons about their feelings of being "trusted more", my one friend gets one case every 2 or 3 hours, he is annoyed when I log in on his steam we can watch cases constantly usually.

@3kliksphilip 7:19 Out of all the research you do for us viewers, Valve made it clear for any "boosting" overwatch cases to report it as griefing.

Philip, if someone 'toggles on', that means they had already injected the cheat when booting up the game. Meaning the cheat was already running. They just weren't using all the features. The second the other team starts using their cheat blatantly he just presses a shortcut to toggle the cheat that was already running. He didn't cheat because the other player cheated. He already had his cheats injected and running, waiting for a good moment.

It was once said that you was generally given a more difficult case the higher rank you are and the more consistent you are "correct". I found that you pick up little tell tale signs about cheaters and the satisfaction is spotting those "tells" on people trying their best to hide their cheats. I frequently chose to select someone as innocent based on the the option to punish being "Evident beyond a reasonable doubt" and that's the most important part.

The "AFK Teams" is done by Clans. They have 6 or 7 people queue, with one group of 5, on an unpopular map (office used to be popular), so the person who isn't AFK gets to boost.

About the boosting service,you can judge him for griefing stuff like that doesn't happen like 9 players accept and they decide to afk all of the sudden if other team was a derank lobby they would have spin in place or his team would have moved and you asked how did he got in OW,who reported him?It's VACnet when you have crazy good score like 30-0 the system will notice something is fishy and send you to overwatch.Played over 1000mm games and never got 9afks stuff like that doesn't happen it's all planned maybe create smurf account and test boosting service on it for next video that would be actually good :O

You can go back to review a scene without all the hassle. Click pause, click on the timeline bar where the scene is, then wait for the scene to load because practically the demo will reload completely from the start. Then click Resume. It should work (it's working on my case) but it takes a bit more time since it loads the whole demo again. So, a bit of correction there for your video.

You should always report players who play against a full team of afks, especially when their team is also afk.Also, if someone gets over a certain number of kills, like in the case of afk killing like the one I mentioned above, they ar4 automatically sent to overwatch.Some boosters also boost two players at the same time (so 8 total afk on the server) in order to avoid getting the boostees into overwatch.

AFK Teams count as External Assistance, valve added that recently

around 7:30 you talk about how overwatch can detect people who are against afk teams, and only show you the bits where the cheater "toggles". Overwatch doesn't just find cases based on reports, but also looks at a player's stats. If a person gets WAY too high of a score (for example: 30 kills and less than 2 or 3 deaths), they might automatically get uploaded to overwatch, even if they weren't reported. Overwatch also cuts out part of the replays where the suspect doesn't get many kills, or something like that. Most of it basically an AI watching the scoreboard.

That moment when you a office addicted player and know where to pre-aim so when you peek you have the crosshair on place where enemies usually are and they start to cry that you are cheating, and then they suddenly become good (turn on wallhacks) and still loses to youand they get ow banned. Ahh it feels so good

Have you seen the amount of game bans over the past few months on SteamDB? I feel like nobody has really been talking about the insane number of bans recently(7mil+), VACnet is doing its job well.

7:22 no. its called vertigo boosting and you should report them. valve has said so.

In the future I think it could be interesting to get to listen to comms and messages from the team. This would help a bit more to find out if a player is griefing I think :)

A bit late but when you get over 90+ points you get sent to the overwatch automatically.

On the afk teams part, when you asked who would’ve reported the only guy in the map, there’s a point threshold where the game is automatically sent to Overwatch.

You can go back in a demo. I don’t know how you didn’t see this or maybe it’s just me, but you can switch to the previous round by clicking the back arrow to the left of “round” before the start of the current round. During a round clicking this will restart the current round to the start of the buy time.

I get a spinbotter in every second overwatch case...

Don't forget that slowing the frames down with the demoui can help determine automation in crosshair movement, though you have to consider the jittery 32 tick demos as well

By the way, a few months ago I tried to get myself VAC'd so that id never play csgo again. I just used some subtle cheats and ramped them up depending on how bad my team was. I had a 89% win rate. I did it for a month straight, I only gained 1 rank and never got banned. That was enough reason for me never to play the game again. These cheats had everything, allowed me to make the map look like it was nighttime, changed my FoV, what skins I had equipped. what my hand models looked like, where exactly on the enemies body id hit, map it so I only saw them on the radar like a UAV, to make my aiming not look too suspicious... Never did I get banned.

I believe a 50 bomb is always an auto report, explaining people rushing into the afk people and getting aces 16 rounds in a row being "reported"

I was wondering if you would be able too see how many times you've been reported/overwatched through your career. I have a substantially lower trust factor than any of my friends since I am a good player. I invent wallbangs and hit them more often than I should, reflexes are sharp and I generally hit weird shots. Now, I cannot help but feel punished for all the time I put in the game since we play against blatant cheaters more often than not. My account is 14 years old, I have tons of hours (~2/3rd of my hours actually spent playing), ~$7K inventory, Prime account and I am generally a nice guy to play with. I wish all of this was taken into account for determining my Trust Factor. Whenever we lose a game to the "smurf" who has no hours, no skins, bot-like movement, prefire King and plays off of timing while being so dominant against Global Elites I really feel like it's the games way of punishing me :(

Recently i've had an ow case where 2 guys where trying to get 3 other cheaters comp ban, they where like 5 people cheating in this game and the only one who got into an ow case was the leggit one,it's really weird how the cheaters didn't get vac or ow banned but the one who's trying to make the cheaters stop cheating did

Ironically, smarter players who've cheated (and their cheat subscription expires) actually gain a large sum of map awareness that would have normally taken a typical new FPS player somewhere around 1 - 3 years of playing shooters to gain. Don't gain any aiming ability though. Stupid players (like kids who cheat to cheat, and not see what's going on...) just get an elevated sense of paranoia when their cheat expires, since they'd focused so much on taking the information in instead of processing why other players were doing what they were and learning from the freedom of information they'd been given. This also mans they'll try and buy back into the cheat, so VANnet will have an awesome learning experience noting how a player goes from being godly to being a steaming pile of shit in a 1,3,6,12 month cycle.

I try to do 1 OW case for every game I play. It's a good way to take a break and cool off. And it's not like it takes that long. With fast forwards during boring sections (or if theyre blatantly cheating) it takes 5ish mins at most compared to 45ish mins of a full match.

I'm not sure it's true but I've heard that, if a player gets 100 points ingame they get instantly put in overwatch. Which would make sense when it comes to the full AFK games.

I hate when I get that 1 guy I'm forced to play with and then he'll just tease the other teams that he's hacking just to incite a reaction out of the opponents but the opponents take him seriously and turn on their hacks ,ruining a perfectly winnable game.Would it kill them to sit the fuck down?Egos are a fragile thing. Even more surprising is when someone will call out someone for hacks ,and when he's had enough ,it'd be revealed that the guy calling out the hacker has his own hacks ready to fire up sitting on his computer magically. Wow,a real icon of fair play *you* were for all your talk.

you say so many cool things, when people like me mention it ingame, you mostly only gate hate for it, cause people dont understand this game to a certain point. every single small move can decide about getting the fragg, or getting fragged. most of the time they guys trying to hide their wh, but when you really look into the detail, you can see they are mostly never worried about diff. angles (angles where no opponents are) for example. there are many things coming together, adding up. when i started in 2003 i didnt know anything about this game. after almost 15 years you kinda have your rules. i like what you say: "always expect that the opponent is where you aim". really in this game right now i also expect multiple players coming, when somebody comes around the corner. especially in eco rounds, or when he only has a pistol. its important to know how well armed your enemies are. its natural to get caught from behind, its natural to miss a shot, its natural that your mouse slips off the pad, and and and. people always hate for no reason, when you dont get 30 5, and try to share information. in the last 6 months ive made 400 wingman wins. they had everything in global from spinbot, to esp hacks, to sliding over the ground, to defusing the bomb in 3 seconds/and instant defuses. same happens in matchmaking every single day. you dont match too many of the sudden cheats in mm anymore, but still people who are not even trying to hide. when you play with a full team of advanced players from dmg to supreme, and you match guys with 1 bronze, 1 silver coin: no events played, 5 friends, 3 pages of -rep... its all evidence. yes there are smurfs, but a good players profile looks different! suddenly you cant make a single play, cant achieve any smoke plays, getting prefired. im doing overwatch very regularly and i get 1-3 notifications per weeks by valve. there is much going on i would like to talk about tbh. the last guy was already banned for me before he turned on the spinhack. when you hear people running in apps, you dont look into the wall to apps to confirm it. he had both players in his sight, so it was obvious. when you hear people run apps, you watch the window , put your crosshair in a way smarter position. now its important to know if this is a newcomer, or not. but when you compare movement, crosshair placement to good players, its a difference of day and night.

sometimes when people are just sitting in spawn, they have refused to continue playing against someone who they think is a hacker. This can lead to hackers getting away with it because they’ll just turn the cheats off and kill them in spawn and nothing will show on overwatch.
