Let’s Clean up a 1996 Yamaha YZ250

Picked up a 1996 Yamaha YZ250 that ran very well, but did NOT look the part. Cleaned the bike up top to bottom, fixed up paint, replaced broken or old parts, and got this 2 stroke looking brand new!

Thanks for watching the video. Carb was cleaned but a tune was definitely still needed as you can hear, did that off camera and she runs great now

Man that bike was perfect for the oem navy blue and white plastic and 96 oem graphics. Clean bike to start off👍🏻

guys, don't powerwash your bike like this, does WAY more damage than good. Use dawn and some elbow grease with a garden hose. Better clean and no damage to bearings and seals

restoration my ass all u did was change plastics put some spray on frame change seat cover and basic maintenance, it doesn't even run good

The bike doesn’t run good, it runs great! Much work was done off camera including tuning after filming this video, thanks for taking the time to comment 👍

you just bolted on a bunch of non performance parts and did nothing with greasing bearrings or checking the top end, carb, nothing. lol. Which is why is sounds like sht
