My journey this past year into herbalism and growing my own food at 71 years old and handicapped has been because of recurrent UTI AND the subsequent sepsis plus years of IV medications that have destroyed my immunity. I finally told the doctors rENOUGH and started doing my own research. I haven’t had a UTI in over a yeAr but my immunity still very low so I’m working on it. Thank you for your help. Gods medicine meant to cure and protect. Man’s medicine meant to make you a customer.

Looks wonderful! On a side note, when you use turmeric, you should also add black pepper because it makes the turmeric more easily absorbed and bioavailable within our body.

Turmeric is the most nasty tasting herb on the planet. My people always use a little and pickling but I think it is horrible tasting and it will give your body a stinking odor believe me that's why other people in other countries smell different than we do by using so much of that stuff. There are other herbs that are helpful and I can leave this one off the rest of my life is I am 80 and very healthy and don't need this s t i n k i n g stinking nasty tasting herb

I read on another blog that they dehydrated the ingredients after they were strained and then put the dried ingredients into capsules to take when your on the go or if you can’t stand the taste of the fire cider but still want the benefits. I thought that sounded like a good idea especially after I watched your capsule video.

I did notice that you had your Rosemary labeled Salvia rosmarinus..and I thought you were mistaken, but when I looked it up, I was informed that the RHS had voted, in 2019, based on New scientific evidence, to absorb Rosmarinus into the genus Salvia! I made my first fire cider on 12-1-23 its ready to pull off the dark shelf and strain. Im excited to have it when anyone get sick! But here's the thing, I have elderberry trees and make elderberry tincture and syrup, I also make fermented garlic in raw honey. So I dont think anyone is gonna get sick here because we are already boosted to the moon with good things for our immune system. Thanks for sharing! I added my elderberry to my cider and also I didn't have horseradish. But its powerful to say the least! Im going to store in my pantry as it is dark and cool. Also getting ready to strain my echinacea herb tincture, im so excited. Ive made so many tinctures and herb oils for natural medicine and I love it. Just mad some facial serums with my herbs and sweet almond oil. How to you make facial moisture creams. I want a cream for my face that I can add my serums and vitamins e to. I made my first gallon of fire cider in August of last year. I made it with fresh ginger, turmeric, garlic, onion, cayenne peppers, black pepper, lemons, limes, cinnamon, and apple cider vinegar with the mother. I forgot about the horseradish. I pureed all the fresh ingredients in a food processor instead of chopping them. After it fermented for two months I strained it and added tart cherry juice. My next batch I will add in the horseradish and cranberries. I am using it for the cold and flu season as well as for an anti inflammatory.

I just made 3 half gallons and I'm calling it Fall Harvest Fire Cider! It looks so beautiful. I followed your recipe except I used pomegranates instead of cranberries and fresh turmeric instead of dry. Waiting 4 weeks is going to be tough! Thanks for the recipe. 🥰

The cranberries are new for me will definitely try it on the next batch. I also strained mine at the end and but it in the blender when it’s done curing. And put it in a mason jar and put it in my refrigerator and add it to soups and marinate my meats or add to oil and use it for a salad dressing. One year I dehydrated the leftovers and put them in capsules. Side not if you dehydrate the leftovers do it outside.

I love the garlic in a jar of honey. I have to have it aged before I dive in. So spring is when I usually make a new batch so it’s ready when the other jar is empty

Love your videos. I made my first batch of fire cider a few weeks ago. Waiting patiently to try it. I used mostly the same ingredients but with a few changes for what we had. It has the horseradish, ginger, turmeric, garlic, red onions, jalapenos, rosemary, thyme, black pepper corns, oranges, lemons and grapefruit, elderberries and hibiscus flower. Waiting till November to strain and add the honey. I am in awe of your fantastic array of herb jars. Thank you for sharing. ❤

Just pressed my first fire cider today! It has been infusing for almost 7 weeks. Added some honey and popped it in the fridge, it tastes amazing! Got the herbs, fruit and veggies in the dehydrator as I type this to either put in capsules or to use as a yummy seasoning! Love watching you both, reminds me of my mom and I ❤😂.

Thank you so much for your wonderful video. You are such naturals and it's joy to watch. I made Fire Cider last autumn, have been taking it every day and, although I have an auto-immune illness, I managed to get through the winter months without falling ill. The first time ever! I added juniper berries and sage leaves. Thank you again! :-)))

thank you for this series of videos on fire cider! you answered all my questions. like the blue garlic and not having an ingredient at the time of making. I'm a person that can handle some heat and I could not find horseradish root. I did put in for the heat part, ginger, red onion, garlic and Serrano pepper but as I open everyday, I can tell it needs more heat. I won't have that reaction like ya'll did in the video!
