I will forever enjoy Desbug content, no matter what the topic/game is. (Fun fact: I have been watching Desbug since his newest video was “The ULTIMATE Competitive Mario Maker Player” (the one with “Subscribe To Save Luigi” on the thumbnail) it was also the first one I watched and I fell in love. I’m so grateful that he still uploads to this day and I will continue to watch and rewatch these silly little videos for as long as I can. Desbug uploading always perks up my day and it really helped me get though school because I felt like everyone there was against me, so being able to come hone and cheer along with Desbug’s S+ journey, cooperative, endless easy torture more recently, and all the variety content has genuinely helped me be happy throughout the last few years. Desbug, my daughter and I watched your Mario maker content A LOT. The biggest detraction from my ability to binge your vids with my kid is that there is swearing occasionally. I think you have such a massive appeal when you're in your element, giving fun voices to the characters, and making up wacky stories during your adventures. That's what we tune in for!!
I truly wish that Desbug would benefit more from other things and not just Mario. He is one of the few content creators that I genuinely enjoy with every video. Here's to hopefully a brighter future for Desbug

Your content isn’t getting worse, the RU-vid algorithm is. Your videos (including the non-Mario maker) are amazing and you have a much better upload schedule than most big creators. I've kind of been a silent supporter of the channel for a long time, probably not the longest of the longest but I do remember subscribing soon after clicking on that "What your Smash Ultimate Main Says About You" video and those Alpharad ones too, and while it's definitely been painful seeing the algorithm shoot you down, I've always admired your ability to stick to your guns and keep trucking on with the content. In terms of Mario Maker I've probably long outgrown my interest in it, but really I just enjoy listening to you talk about whatever while I'm working or writing or playing a game. I'm excited to see you try out new stuff on a new channel, I'll definitely do my part and watch it! Oh and I'm most excited for the streams, I remember the old Among Us and Meme Reaction streams that I enjoyed the absolute hell out of. Maybe one day we'll get to have those again, I definitely loved them. I'm fine if you have to take breaks or anything like that, I understand mental health is extremely important and I'm glad you make that a priority yourself. This is just my opinion, and ultimately I'd only want you to play what you want, but for me I enjoy watching you play something competitive. It doesn't have to even be mario or Nintendo related. I like just listening to your thought process, and love to root for you during these games. Can't tell you how many times I've popped off with you clutching a last second win in Mario Maker that you deserved lol. Whatever path life takes you I hope you enjoy it, and know that we'll be here for it.
Personally, even if you don't see this, you are still one of my top 10 funniest RU-vidr's and I have watched you for at least 2 years now. Mario Maker hasn't gotten that old for me, but I am super open to you spreading your wings more, and trying different things. As someone who is currently attempting to make single player platformer game content, it is quite hard to make jokes, and be somewhat funny, even in my own eyes, which is why I would suggest putting the option of moving on to other game genres entirely, into your spectrum. No matter what you do, I will still be a semi-reoccurring fan of you, not matter what content you pull off, and this is mainly just an example of said fan, suggesting content I would be into. Stay awesome. : )

I've watched desbig for a long time, I first saw his video where he started competitive where he was a d rank a week or two after it was made, I've watched most your videos since then, I love how even in serious videos like this it makes time fly and I have fun watching, no matter what kind of upload schedule or break time you take, I'll always watch these whether it be live, a video about movies (I love movie channels) or games I just like watching you videos no matter what category
Des, I got into your channel specifically from your Pokemon Sword videos, so at least you know that just because this channel devolved into Mario Maker perhaps because of its uniqueness, it doesn't mean people won't just continue to find you from other content in the future on a new channel. Also, your Sonic Heroes video, the end where you talked over Sonic and said "Shut up Knuckles" and everything after that, I laughed hysterically for a minimum of 15 minutes without stopping. My then boyfriend (now my husband) was genuinely worried about my sanity. Love your Resident Evil vids with Hayden as well, I mean just about anything, but it makes sense since it seems like maybe a lot of younger people are watching you specifically for MM that those videos don't do so well. It's sad to see, but I'll follow you even if it's to another channel. Thanks for the updates
I love the co-op SMM but I found you during lockdown and honestly your sense of humor and funny anecdotes are what keep me coming back, no matter what games you play. I think the mario maker vids get more traction sense they're mario and pretty short and digestible for casual viewers to watch and move on, but that doesn't mean other games are less likely to draw a following, it's just hard to compare to a company like Nintendo. I hope your new channel gives you the confidence to try new games and share them with us!
I don't even remember when I started watching this channel. Maybe like three years ago? But it somehow has the feeling that I've always been a subscriber and the channel has been around since the beginning, and not too many channels can can lay claim to that sort of honor. I feel like the champion’s road theme that played in the beginning really fits the video’s theme. Desbug really has come far, from the S+ rank to his modest sub count, and the music really ties all this together. I will always be rooting for you, and hoping you get far in life. I understand your frustration and annoyances Des. Ive been through the same thing for my content at least 2-3 separate times were I felt like I missed the train or fumbled the bag to grow to what I could've become. But I'm stubborn. Even if it means uploading to dwindling views I kept going. I started a Patreon to help keep me afloat (and freelance to make ends meet). The people who still watch me religiously are still there, and I can NEVER bring myself to abandon them and start again (and trust me, growing a new channel is next to impossible. Just try it with a second channel and SEE how brutal it is for new channels out there). My BEST advice for you is to keep going. Push through. Jumping on new trends and being consistent is everything. I discovered you through Pokemon Sword & Shield, and have been here ever since. I remember skipping your Mario Party videos cause they were too long to watch, but now I religiously wait for them because they're so fun and your personality is infectious and your commentary god tier! The ONLY video of yours I never watched was you Resident Evil series, and even then I'm sure I wouldve come around if you just kept uploading (wasn't in the right state of mind to watch it then). This has become long and rambly. Bottom line. We, your true loyal fans (whatever you call us. Bugs? The Desbugs?? The Desbuggettes??? 🤣) will alway be here and never give up, leave, or abandon you. You'll have to drag us kicking and screaming. I know it sounds cringe and cliché at this point, but its true, you've hepled us through a lot Big D (lmfao! 😂), don't let the AI robot beat you down or silence you. You have almost half a million subs. If you upload frequently enough, you'll appear in their subboxes and claw a huge chunk of those fans back. They've just grown and changed (or literally can't see you) we just need to scream into the void loud enough and find their new intrests to reel them back in. Okay I'm done. I came across your channel again after first seeing your videos slightly before quarantine and I absolutely have been entertained since then, and (with a random break about a year ago when RU-vid stopped showing me your stuff) I have always enjoyed your videos. And sure there have been a few times where i’ve lost interest but it never lasted long, i always came back, because your great. I think it’s also because Nintendo hasn’t updated Mario Maker in years making it not as popular, there aren’t many RU-vid’s making Mario maker content anymore. I don’t really care for the Mario maker as much it’s just how fun you make it. I’ll always watch your videos no matter what game or content. I hope you have more fun making variety content in the future!

I found you originally during covid, but you’ve become one of my favorite YTers. I think what I enjoy most is how you’re able to personify “Blue Mario”, “Green Mario”, and so on. You’re able to turn a simple Mario level into a battle of wits, to craft a story out of almost nothing. You create characters out of the sprites and their simple movements on screen, like how you made Mario in that level into a funny side character messing up your runs. The deadpan over everything just makes it all the better. Even small stuff like that goes a long way, and I can’t wait to see what you do next!

I prefer highlights and messing about over challenges- challenges burn out RU-vidrs too much in comparison, and since we only see the highlights anyways, no need to frame it within a challenge

Y'know, to make sure you don't lose points in versus, you could just take a screenshot at the start and end of your session and if you lost overall, you can download your last save data from the cloud.

When I was like 10 i think a video that said subscribe to save Luigi with Mario and Luigi falling in lava I watched it and laughed so hard people could hear me from outside I was told to turn it off but couldn’t when they left the room i had to watch again.I was there for A rank level up. I found your channel during the pandemic while I was also trying to finally get mine off the ground.
