Oooh this is gonna be fun!! 🙂 Just want to add that you don't need the ToneX Capture box to capture your rig. As long as your current interface has the proper ins and outs you should be good to go. In any case I freaking envy you dude for getting all this great stuff for free just to advertise it! Your sounds great.

Great informative demo, it's appreciated, because I'm thinking of buying the Tonex & Capture box combo , that can replace my amp and pedals, for live gigs and minimizing my pedal board size. I do have a request if I may, can you do another demo featuring capturing overdrive and distortion pedals?

It’s simply incredible. I love it. This neural network stuff is revolutionary.. ai is going serious tech nowadays. It’s killing my kemper. But the kemper is a 2000’s tech😂

Tip: If your using the IK AXE I/O interface "AMP OUT" you may not want to run it through the re-amp side of the ToneX CAPTURE. The AMP OUT on the AXE I/O is already impedance matched for your amp and by running it through another impedance matching device your tone and capture will change. I keep seeing videos doing this and it works, but I think your results will be better by using only one RE-AMP for your output. Then again it may give you the sound you want...../

I know…I did an A/B and it sounded exactly the same! I just wanted to use the IK interface for this video and that’s the output they have - just to show how to plug it all in

@@TSFAHTPS Good to know. I've tested a few reamp and di boxes with REW and they roll off some high end, so it may not be an issue here. Thanks for the A/B test!

So where would you put the cable that's coming out of amp out on the interface, if not putting it into the re amp of the tonex capture?

@@Chromeboy2003 Amp Out on the IK AXE I/O interface would go straight to your amps input. You can try both ways and see if there is a difference, but you don't have to go through the ToneX Capture box in this example for reamping.

Sounded pretty close and good to me! :) Maybe a capture of your Bassbreaker could be cool? Also, if you could capture a Superfuzz style pedal properly I would definitely use it!

OMG when it comes to complicated set up this one is really is up there, that took some brain cells to follow 😮 However the output for the effort is amazing that your able to capture the amp for anybody globally to be able to use. Seriously cool stuff. Now if you wanted to be a bit naughty, go to the local music shop, borrow the amp of your dreams, tone capture it then take it back and there is the amp that you have always wanted basically for nothing but your time. That of course if somebody else has not already done it for you….. just amazing.

All my amps are on the rack behind me…except for some DOD amps…but I captured them already!

There‘s a free, open source alternative called GuitarML they have the proteus capture program, it‘s worth checking it out. Haven‘t got around to do it my self (i have no reamp box, still wanna try it). I think it‘s not as close as the tone x, but you can train it to 5 level (gain) settings, which the toneX doesn‘t.

great video , Have you had an issues with feedback with the microphone on step 3 , currently using a focusrite scarlett 4i4 (have everything setup the same way ) and I'm getting feedback , have tried multiple steps to try recitfy the problem but to no avail

Would have loved to see the interface connections like you can see the capture box connections.

You can see one connection in the background when I show closeups of the Capture box…the only other connections are the mic input just to the left of it and the USB connection & the two speaker outputs in the back

Hello, could you help me with a question? I have captured my amp and I want to save the file on my pc or on a flash drive, but it has been saved in Tonex as a tone model, not as a preset and I cannot export it. Could you tell me how I can export my own capture to my hard drive? I would also like to know if there is a difference in capturing in Advanced mode or in Default mode

I'm new to the Tonex world. Got myself a Tonex pedal, Tonex capture box and a Axe I/O Solo. Once I connect the Axe I/O Solo usb cable to my laptop, the Axe I/O Solo usb light lights up for a second then turns off, then on again and off again. Over and over. So as I'm watching your video on youtube, the headphone audio is dropping out as the usb light goes off. The headphones are connected to the Axe Solo. Maybe a faulty unit??

Man this sounds so confusing lol ....I had a Kemper it was a breeze to profile.....have a Tonex now and definitely not gonna trying this complex capture process huhhh ...sounds good tho .

It's not that difficult once you do it...and yes it sounds really quite good!! But there are TONS of great sounds available online if you don't want to do your own captures!

I'm having issues with this thing. The app, in the modeler section, is asking for 2 microphone signals when I have only one. I can't seem to change this. Any ideas?

You can just turn one off…but if your interface only has one input then you mustn’t have it selected as your input device…it should know how many inputs it has

When I use the standalone app then I get some latency…when I use any amp sim as a plugin in Logic I don’t feel any latency at all! Not sure why…I have never changed any settings…just plugged in and it seems to work just fine without any latency!

I’m not sure how to go about it if you want to sell it through your own site but if you want to sell it through IK Multimedia/ToneX you have to become an official partner…they approached me for that so I guess you would have to email them and see how to go about it?!?
