You know that a mouse ran out of your tent when you were setting it up.

Looks like the spreader poles are bending too much due to the width of awning for my liking? I am yet to get any condensation in my RV1 or RV3 and I have never used the Fly,s either, they are still in the unopened bags lol I have a front panel that is also an awning extension and a side awning to extend the side for the RV3 but I suppose its a bit cheaper to buy the complete kit in one. I agree that you are better off spending on a quality tent to start with it pays off in the end and gives a better experience for newer or infrequent campers, I cant go back to a non canvas tent because of it flapping around too much in the wind and too much light inside. I was camping with an RV3 on top of a Hyundai i20 for a few years so I don't think this tent would be a problem on the roof of any mid sized hatch given the RV3 is almost 20KG and 2.m long in the bag.

Some ppl have issues with the fly, noise, the grommets. Any alternative fly that's better but similar in shape to the fly that comes with this tent?

Alright I’m sold. I preordered the oztent rv5 plus and just changed my order to the sv5 instead.

I live in hot humid climate. What of storage for this type of material? Does it need to be out of humidity even if in my garage for storage?
