I was soo excited when it arrived I immediately set it up in our dining room. 30 seconds of time is all it takes. 30 seconds 👏💪. Shane must have been an amazing leader as you’ve shown. Oh my! What a wonderful yet sad story. I have been a fan of your tents since seeing them used in the UK by Bushwacker Man. Unfortunately they aren’t available from any Canadian retailers though your team has recommended that I source one from a USA company & even included links. That said the shipping & exchange put the tents out of my budget. I’m a older man with mobility disabilities... I love the outdoors but cannot manage what is now normal in tents, yours seems to be a perfect solution for “pitching” a tent for someone with mobility issues. Even more important is being able to walk into the tent rather than trying to crawl. I wear braces on my legs & getting up once I’m down is a real challenge. If ever you choose to have a Canadian supplier or possibly decide to ship to Canada I would definitely look at the possibility of owning an OZTENT!!! Again, this video was a heart warming family story. Thank you for sharing & I wish you the greatest success with your new tent!!! It’s wonderful!!!

Its great to know the backstory of Oztent .... I've been using them and many other Oztent products for nearly ten years. I've always been really impressed by the quality and eye for design. The SV-5 Max looks to be another winner.

Wow, tears..

We traveled around Australia for 3 years with our RV5 in all types of weather, dust and hail storms, wind, sleet, snow. For a long time it was our home! The moon roof is a great idea. We would sometimes sleep with our pillows under the back screen to get the same effect. Love our OxTent.

I have the RV-5, what a great bit of kit, you get what you pay for.

Hey @oztent when will the rear window ever have a zipper to enable the rear window to be unzipped open. If someone is using the fly and the rear canvas flap is rolled up, and they wanna put it down you have to shimmy between the fly and oztent to access the rear flap. Fit a zipper just like the rv 5 max sky light, to make access this flap much easier. Makes no sense that there is no zipper on this window.....

Thought about using Aussie waxconverters canvas?

Nice family story. I'm an RV5 owner with all of the extras. Not sure I see another $1000 price increase over my RV5. RV5 here in USA is $810. Is the mesh roof and front tarp all that is new? Just asking. Not disrespecting the family story part, this is a launch of a new tent video. Also, are these now being made in Australia, or still in China?

It is too heavy, it is too long and I love mine.

Maybe edit down as sorry was too long. Great for you to have a family story though. I have the RV5 and definately is not too long or heavy, if anything a great size and shape to put on my roof by myself. Like the 30 seconds to pop up, be not the next 30 minutes puting the all the pegs in. Not really a 30 second tent, that part is a bit annoying and decieving :-).
