These styles of decks that use you opponents’ cards is just so good at a budget vs expensive table. Seriously, this commander and others like it (I’m thinking steal commanders or something like Etali, Primal Storm) are fantastic if you want only one deck. They scale based on your opponents, plus never play the same way twice.

I am running Xanathar with Gyruda even CMC only to "fair" it up a bit. I took apart my Sen Triplets deck upon Xanathar being spoiled, everyone hated it. Thanks Mitch great stuff as always.

I was surprised wizened snitches wasn't the golden pig.... Definitely gives you better information on what you can cast on a given turn from each opponent having both this and telepathy is the chef's kiss!

can I ask why we play in upgraded list Sphinx of the Second Sun? we dont get additional main phase to play those cards from extra trigger or is it just for untap ? (she triggers after second main phase)

Depart the Realm seems a bit suboptimal...something like an Echoing Truth would be a lot better, get rid of a bunch of tokens potentially, while Depart's Foretell ability doesn't seem like that much of an upside

Played this deck a few times now and while I got to start popping off once, every time ive played it they just board wipe/remove Xanathar almost immediately. Even with Hexproof equipment they just go straight for him and he quickly becomes way too expensive to get out and equip on a single turn. Hell I even had him turned into a land with Imprisoned in the Moon in one game and this deck had nothing to deal with it save for maybe Metamorphose. Couldn't even bounce him back to hand since almost every bounce is non-land permanents. When Xanathar isn't out this deck has almost nothing to do unfortunately. Any suggestions on modifications to deal with this? I held him back one game until I had Neurok Spellsuit out and could attach it when I cast him but they immediately deleted the suit and then removed him, and then im sitting there with all these enchantments out doing nothing. :(

Sorry to burst your bubble, but "Until end of turn" effects do wear off when you End your turn, regardless of how you end it

very bad deck lost 6 games in a row with no chance of getting a board state so disposed of xanathar with a lighter don't get this deck you will never get enough mana and if the opponents are running any artifact distrution its over buy a precon and you will have a better chance played with the phantom bounce flicker deck and got 1 win after 2 games
