I love the Ruin Trio. Call me "Rooting for the Empire", but I liked how each of the three Legendary Pokemon sound like the Native American version of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Thanks for the education!

During the lore part, I almost started crying over Bonate being alone... in the dark... without anyone worshipping him... I may be a little weird but give the poor puppy some love!

I love Rachnerra and I used another bit of Native American mythology as well in its design, though I bet you didn’t realize it… In Choctaw legend Grandmother Spider stole fire from the east using a clay pot to hide it from the people of the east. She then gave that fire to the people of west as a gift… It just like how Rachnerra gave the gift of Sohawlae to the people of Cornera.

I can imagine Racnara and Arceus working togather creating the world

headcanon: Bonawte sang " Be prepared" when he created the "Ruin Trio", with him being Scar and the agents of chaos being the hyenas.

man, the designs of all of those are so cool. personally i feel like with the lore of Bonawte being the cause of Shadow Pokemon it should be more purple instead of blue but that's such a small nitpick and doesn't take away from the design as a whole at all

In my opinion NIMBOLFA should be water electric not flying but its your region you can do what ever you want 😅

I'm actually drawn towards the darker half of this lore story. I kinda like the idea of "dark is not evil," but I might just keep that in mind for my own fanmade region. Also: WE HAVE AN EVIL ORGANIZATION, PEOPLE!

Rachnerra is my favorite amongst these legendaries, but they're all very well designed.

Rachnara is so beautiful! I never thought a spider could have such a very crazy and amazing story Hint hint maybe as you play through the game you can make her have some other "crone" archetype quality's such as stories and cracking some heartfelt if not "lewd" jokes

The legendaries are so cool and the first legendary that made the Cornera region is cool. Along with the legendary that is a origin of the Shadow Pokemon and creator of the Ruin trio.

Dude racnara is so cool! I imagine racnara would have some type of connection to arceus considering, y’know both working on the earth, golden and yellow, wispy there on the back of there head, similar eyes, sorry if I type racnara incorrectly but there definitely my faveorite.

wow, i am blown away! you can tell from the designs to the depictions that they really put their hearts and minds into this! I am hopi too! "Cornera" has a very nice ring to it! we use corn for everything. we use the corn meal to pray, to help cook, and use it as offers to dawa (sun). but normally, we call it "homa". but cornera is also a very simple, yet very intriguing name! ugh, i wish this was a real game! a game like this would be awesome!

When you started explaining Rachnerra I covered my face with my hands in fear you'd show off imagery of exactly which 8-legged abominable hellspawn you got inspiration from for its design (which ironically might actually be my favourite legendary here). You didn't, closest you got was some redback clipart, but still thank you for NOT doing that... I owe you my sleep tonight good sir!

IVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED FOR A FAKEMON REGION. THIS IS AMAZING. love the lore~ i literally binge watched this whole playlist.

I have an idea for the signature moves of the legendaries. For Sohawle, Its signature move would be Radiant Shardstorm, which causes daylight, and the move type is Special and its a Fairy type move and deals 140 damage, For Bonawte, It would be Noctem Shardstorm, which causes dark bursts of light that damage any non-dark or ghost types, and is a Ghost type move that deals 140 damage as well. Both moves are based on how the fight between the pokemon made those crystal thingies.

Comp wise I feel like the Dark/Ghost legendary might be better. For example in typical pokemon fashion it is usually the box art legendary that is weak to the other that has better coverage moves. For example Solgaleo and Lunala, Solgaleo has crunch which is 4x effective. Another great one is Groudon and Kyogre. Their primal forms speak for themselves, Groudon hard counters Kyogre competitively and shuts down its water weakness. It also has access to the move thunder punch via tutor which Kyogre gains no viable moves to counter a primal Groundon unless you run a scarf or band set on primal/normal Kyogre. Using physical moves such as earthquake which kind of shuts down the whole shtick of Kyogre being an OP bulky special attacker. Essentially moving a key set point of a pokemon that should hard counter it in a less fortunate lime light.

If it was real Sohawlae would be my favorite legendary. Great job

I think I love the ruin trio the most. It's a hard battle, but something about their design is awesome. I just feel bad since I don't really see a why to easily turn their abilities to 'good' and that's unfortunately. Rachnerra would be the next pick. AMAZING design on her. And such awesome backstory too. I love how every part of her inspiration went into her design, even at the meta level. And you're right, a movie about her has a lot of potential.

These concepts are so cool! I am not very familiar with the myths and stories of the Hopi people, but I am quite fond of Kokopelli and thus Cucappoli 😊.

The story about legenderies and mythic Pokemon is fantastic. The "Ruin Trio" is the best and how the leader of their's trio looks awesome.

The ONLY thing I would change is the ice bear's pose to make it less similar to the one from the Kaskade Region. But nitpick aside, these designs & concepts may just make my inner child squee itself to death! Seriously, WELL done!! 😍👍

Definitely liking these legendaries I’ve worked a sort of creation and destruction angle with my own the box legends both have elements that give life but also destruction being a fire and water type respectively while the third legendary is an Extinction level event Pokémon similar to Eternatus if it was left unchecked but still working out it’s design and a proper basis as it’s a Ground and Ghost type

The concept is really cool and some what classical to because light and darkness. Also the light and darkness thing remindsme of kingdom hearts and change of heart that Bonatte cause of Persona 5. What ever great concept keep it up.

For me the true Corneran Legend is Dworph ( Jokes aside these are all really cool)

Hey Pragmagik, your lore for the main two Legendaries sound like the story of Princess Celestia and her sister Princess Luna from MLP.

Bonatwe just needs a hug

I love the designs and lore, I'm just not sure about Bonawte being straight up malevolent. As you said, Coyote was a trickster, but was also considered a hero of man, kind of like Maui in Moana. I think as the story progresses we should learn that there's really two sides to this folktale. Bonawte was initially supportive of humans, having been born of the Earth just like them, and actually stole the Gift Trio belonging to Sohawle to give to its earthbound brethren. The Sun God was furious about this and actually created the Ruin Trio to pursue Bonawte down to Earth. Humanity blamed Bonawte for the collateral damage caused by the Ruin Trio because it was the one who invoked Sohawle's wrath, and drove their former hero back into the Earth from whence it came. The dark Pokemon was hurt and angry that the people it had tried to help had turned against it without a second thought. This betrayal is what caused Bonawte to close the door to its heart and led to the creation of Shadow Pokemon. Both sides of the Legendary Duo were wrong in some way, alluding to the idea of balance between light and dark.

I have initial ideas on a legendary based around the concepts of love and hate. Its a region close to kalos. Zygarde will keep balance over Life (Xerneas), Love, Destruction (Yveltal) and Hate.
