Great video as ever dad! And definitely an awesome use of minimal HP! The only thing I would suggest for this video, probably because I've loved techno since before it was invented, would have been to let the patch run for a few minutes at the end and maybe jam a little on it. Alway love your great instructional videos though.
Thanks for watching! I took your advice and edited together an extended version of the closing jam here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f5DEs6NWebY.html
Gr8 clear explanation as usual - one thing mentioned in comments also, lets hear the result at the end or a nice teaser at the beginning, only 20-30 seconds not a long jam, enough for us to go, 'yup might have a go at that, sounds great' sort of thing :)
Thanks for posting about this. I have been using hemispheres for awhile but didn't know about this app. I installed it and had a blast. Great channel, one of the best for clear and concise info on eurorack stuff.
Wow! Such a nice video about O&C once again! I’m really thinking about getting a second O&C to my modular because of it’s rich features. Thank you! Happy New Year!
Another great and informative vid man, you are the reason I dipped my toe into the Ornament and Crime in the first place, got 2 now lol, Much love from the North.
You are such an awesome teacher and do a fantastic job explaining clearly how the patches and apps work. Do you get the other apps on this TB-3PO firmware of O&C as well? It definitely is worth upgrading or getting another O&C module for it. Good stuff!
I love your videos, and this was as great as I always anticipate from you. I can't wait to try this applet. Have you ever considered mounting your modules into the palette upside down then rotating the case? That would effectively put your 1u on the bottom, below your 3u modules, and could get your cables away from your knobs.
For this module layout that would be a good idea with all the 3U items having modulation in their lower sections. Some people don't like the aesthetics of the inverted case though.
hi synthdad. if i download this firmware i will still be able to use the normal hemisphere functions or will i loose them?!? looking forward hearing from you. thx for all the great job you do.
Yes, absolutely. The TB3PO firmware contains most of the original Hemispheres applets in it. Just some of the larger apps have been removed to make space for it
And you actually enjoy making techNO muzak...? Were you a "club-kid" a few years back? You're still a club-kid at heart...we all are. If you've Danced most of your life in Gay Bars, Dance Clubs, night to morning Raves and Discos Latinos you can NEVER grow out of it !🔥🎵🐾👄✨🌌🌔🤙❗
Well when I went clubbing in the 90s there would have been plenty of techno going down. So I guess you could say that's what I grew up listening to. My clubbing days are long over now, but I still love a bit of techno to get the day going :)
@@SynthDad That's great! And that qualifies you as a Club-kid still... So go out there and DANCE...DANCE...DANCE or DJ at the Clubs and Bars. I'd like to hear more of your completed Soundscapes on your site mixed between your great teaching videos.💡🐾🎵🤙
