The story-beats you loose from the origin you play are basically mirrored in the romance plot of the other, so you can easily imagine the same character-developement that you'd normally get. Some, spoilery space. I mean, in Act 2 Gale usually needs Tav to tell him that he as a person is valuable. Astarion's confession of affection does that with the force of a sledgehammer. Especially with the admission, that he changed his mind from simply seeing the PC as a powerful tool before, it is a nice transition for Gale to realise that he might be more than a wizard to someone. Astarion wants to be more than a body, Gale needs to be more than a mind.
"average wizard lives 1000 years" factoid actualy just statistical error. average wizard has the life expectancy of a gnome in a war. magics elminster, who lives in library & lived over 13,000 years, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.
The lil' nervous face scratch he does at 1:02 is so funny and cute. It's such a real-feeling, human detail that makes me appreciate Tim Downie's performance so much!

I like how when you mention the flower messed with your powers 3:25 Astarion looks concerned, but Karlach just stays their vibe'in in her head like the himbolina she is. 1:09 Also going to romance him as a wild magic sorcerer too; mostly cause that one interaction. Hopefully there's more like those for that class.

Poor thing doesn’t know Minthara is not a book, she’s an Iron Maiden XD messing with him is so wholesome it doesn’t even feel too much most of the times! The last one just shows how madly in love he is and it’s beautiful. Sad that you need to test his limits to get those.

Thanks for the laughs! I was already planning on a Wild Magic Sorc run to romance Gale with, now I want to even more. Looks like there are some hilarious interactions. I tried Storm Sorc but couldn't get into it. I hope you keep posting these. Messing with Gale seems like such fun.
