I have few of these. I a retired/disabled so it all depends on what I can afford to pick up each month. Usually a couple Hot Wheels or Matchboxes. I do have a few Greenlights and Maesto's andM-2's. My collection is up to around 450. Most of them used from auctions and garage sales but... at least I have a collection.
Man, those Chevelle Wagons in all their iterations are just brilliant. I like how that casting conveys the styling of the real automobile so well. And they kept it simple.
So the change on the Silverado is the frt post/base, the base's are now a bit different, so you can't swap the base of the older1's with that new 1. The Ae86 is also a retool, it had an older version that was significantly bigger and imo not nearly as cool as the new 1, also when the Blvd 1 came out they realised a falken version in blue and green, black and white and zamac as well. The miatas also has a reg treasure hunt in red with white stripes. I love your version of the inno cos! That 1 looks super cool. I did get lucky and found the hot wheels version with no side tampo's, it looks really neat as well. I don't really collect errors but if it looks cool like that 1 I diffently grab it. Great video, sorry so long winded, thanks.
Love your videos. Just recently kind of started collecting some diecast. I collect the law-enforcement ones. I’m guessing you live in Arizona maybe the Phoenix area. Is there any place other than the hobby lobby to get decent diecast in the Phoenix area without ordering online? I have no problem ordering online but be kind of nice to go have a physical look at the diecast.
Cubbiehole is the only place beyond the big box stores that I ever frequent. Mostly Hot Wheels focused but the Toy Pimp has 4 cabinets there that are fun to dig through for less common stuff.
Great selection of castings! 3 notes. The 69 Chevy Pickup reminds me of the Partridge Family bus. 😅 I am not a fan of yellow castings because when they don’t use enough paint, the crevices have a greenish look. 🤢 83 Silverado should have made a solid bed. Those open wheel wells look silly. That said, these are hot in the US right now and possibly harder to find on the pegs. Not as much truck aficionados here in Canada, so they are easy to find. No Honda Civic EK9 today? They are very hard to find here. Even in mainline.
@@StingerDiecast yes. Civic is also the super treasure hunt, which I was super lucky to find in super and mainline yesterday. Literally the only 2 Civics I’ve seen this year.
The Silvia is based on a drift car not a silhouette racer. I can see why you're confused being you aren't a car guy. Thought for sure you would have known that being you're race car fan
"LB Super Silhouette Nissan Silvia (S15)". japanesenostalgiccar.com/liberty-walk-nissan-silvia-s15-widebody-kit-super-silhouette-group-5/ You're right it is a drift car but it is 100% based on the Silhouette racers from the past which is what I was alluding to. FYI, I'm happy to converse with you and be corrected but the "not a car buy" BS in every one of your comments is really annoying.
