We open and take a close look at a broad selection of 1/64 scale diecast cars from brands including: Greenlight, Auto World, Inno64, Majorette, Para64, BM Creations, Siku, Aussie Road Ragers and Tarmac Works Road64.
if the car doesn't roll, open up the car, put some cardboard on parts where the base meets the body and then screw back together. it raises the ride height so it may freely roll
Another great video! Your new haul is amazing and the comparison with the Mercedes 190 E was really nice. I always look forward to your videos. Keep it up👍
I like your Blue & Yellow Ukrainian backdrop. The sticker on the hood of the Road Rager is to keep the hood closed, glad you are happy with them. I will send some more of these later. I do like the Eleanor mustang and the Audi R8
Hey Big Man Great videos I'm really enjoying n learning your content subscribed straight away. I've had the Greenlight Eleanor Mustang for a while now No defects n roll's perfectly. Keep up the Great work looking forward for more of your videos. Full Send UK
Awesome cars! On the Kyosho paint rash, it’s a common issue but to be fair it’s something that impacts most higher quality diecast over time in humid climates (very common on auto art, tlv and mini champs from japan too). Brands like Kyosho that spend most of their time in Asia tend to be hit more consistently, but like you mention it’s mostly due to climate. If you’re in Arizona that’s the perfect climate to preserve diecast 😀
My “heart” car is the BMW 2002! Need to find that Schuco! Color is fairly close to the Baikal Blue one I owned years ago (granted, mine was a post Roundie 1974…
Love the schuco BMW. I actually think Tarmacs 190 lights look more realistic when I compare it to my dad's w124 e class (similar year). Audi R8 is great really like para64 Audi far more affordable than tarmac
That GT86 is sweet, I have a much lamer orange one. If I can inspect one locally first I'll get the GL Mustang too, but QC seems a problem for anyone collecting GL. I do like that GL doesn't do the "limited" BS and put out the A-Team van repeatedly for eveyone to buy.
Love the Kyosho 911, surprised at how much the price went up since the last one I bought, I paid 12$ shipped for a MK2 Audi TT. I do believe the Audi line is less coveted than their Ferrari/Lamborghini/Porsche lines, and even their Lancia collection. Nice Eleanor, still on the hunt for that one. You are right about the Civic, Hotwheels released the following generation Euro Civic Type R; Matchbox did release it in several colors though 6 years ago. Wish the specific one you showed would have white wheels, would be more authentic. I'm close to pulling the trigger on some of those Aussie Road Ragers...BM Creations is also on my list, so many cool casts in their lineup! Great variety to this lineup as always, thanks for sharing 👍
I'm surprised I would have paid $30 for a blind box Kyosho, I usually don't go for them over $15-$20 but maybe I really wanted that Porsche or more likely just didn't pay attention since I bought so much at the same time.
Hmm, I see what you're saying but I think it's a stretch to say they're the worst unless you're comparing to more expensive brands. I personally like the way they look most of the time in comparison to competition at the same price level.
@@StingerDiecast nah, they're just lazy as hell. Kyosho used to color-block their lights on their blind-box offerings 13+ years ago. Their Skyline Coupe (G35) has a _very_ small clear portion for the reverse lights like on the real car. What Para does is unacceptable. Even Greenlight used to properly color-block the inserted tailights on their $3 MotorWorld models back in the early 2010s. It's frustrating to get these examples that are over 10 years old be better executed than new, $15 models
@@StingerDiecast look at BMC. They're also generally in that $15 range. The light work on virtually all of their models is exceptional, especially the offroad Pajeros
@@seismic6435 Yeah, Kyosho is definitely a good counter example and I agree completely on that. I just put out a video on Para64 and discussed this issue based on your insight. Thanks
Hi Larry, unfortunately there is nothing in the settings of this video that should have resulted in that many ads. Sorry to ask questions but I'm trying to understand how that could be happening. You were literally shown ads 21 times or the player was showing 21 ad break markers? What platform were you watching the video on? That many ads is definitely not my intention and not what I see when watching the video so any information you can share would be very helpful. Thank you
