It is obvious that this mod for Diablo 2 - Middle Earth, refers to The Lord of the Rings - Tolkien's amazing work, which is known all over the world. Many years have passed since the first cinematographic triptych, especially its inaugural part. So much so that another one appeared recently (the story of Thorin). There are still others planned - the times of Thrain, Thror, centuries earlier and even further, and the aftermath of the dissolution of the Fellowship of the Ring, and maybe even more (I have heard that a new "Lord of the Rings" is on Prime Video (I bet it's not from the series universe), but that's not the point here. The modification does not change the game as significantly as others, and is one of the least known old mods. It gained popularity as an addition to the first installment of the universe. Here, as in Diablo 1, the nomenclature changes. stylized by the adventures of Middle-earth. Moreover, items and monsters are symbolically modified so that each change, noticed by an experienced player, is unique. It is seemingly difficult to notice the differences, but you just need to dig deep enough to notice what you cannot find in other mods Middle Earth innovations from the first part, enriched with countless other, small ones.
