Ok, a few days late, but finally got around to this! Nice to have the adventures in the station back. And returning with the temple which has some nice, jazzy music, too. It gives me Sonic Unleashed night level vibes, in a way? Which definitely is a good thing, considering the Sonic Unleashed soundtrack is among my favorite game OSTs. And boy, another saw heavy section. The timing in those kinds of sections in games is always tricky because, as you did say, you might be able to tell where the saw will move, but due to their size the window of opportunity is smaller than you'd like. They do make for efficient deterrents for trespassers, I'd imagine. And a ruthless giant spider would also do that. Or all those spike balls, Quick Man traps, and wall masters. And top that off with a killer Satan-y statue. This place just doesn't want you alive huh? At least the tune makes it feel more chill.

No worries ever, I'm many months late from my schedule so nobody's counting ;) Bit of a difficulty spike this time around and with the game being a bit smaller in length, those spikes come frequently. Remembering to dash helps in this section greatly! I do like how this particular boss (spider) is practically impossible if you do not utilize dash. I find the robed statue fight to be one of the semi-rare pacing odd spots. Great tune as par for the course!

Just like in Portrait of Ruin, your reward for winning the boss fight is the next boss fight.

Yes this game starts to get a little "bossy" but still good fun! I believe the developer admitted he went heavy handed on bosses because he enjoyed creating them and setting their difficulty as to how he would play it. I can only appreciate that but it does show sometime! Ah Portrait of Ruin, you have reminded me!

Hey there Blatty, if you check at the 24:40 minute marker, you can see that you very briefly phase through the wall, before attempting that series of jumps. Could it be another fake wall? I like the new spike in difficulty by the way.
