On the precipice of the still mind, there is only a hollow duty.
For to think back would be only impeding your efficiency after all.
Forget the glitz and glam of the fashion show.
Forget the lazy sunny coastal town.
Forget the political powder keg.
Forget the luxurious hotel paradise.
Forget the defiled farmlands.
Your thoughts must be clear of all preoccupation if you are to succeed on this final mission.
I hope you enjoyed this journey with me through the wonderful assassination sandbox designs of HITMAN. This was by far my most arduous project to complete but I am rather proud of the result.
Until next time!

And with that it comes to an end. I'm grateful to have been part of this trip. Not only was I able to help you out by creating the thumbnails you needed to make this series your current master piece, but more importantly we became good friends. Kudos on pushing through, making this exactly as you wanted to, and not giving up. You've earned my respect and I hope there will be more amazing and beautiful LPs coming from your hand in the future. *bows*

Thank you for your support, insight, advice, and friendship good sir. Your thumbnails helped maintain the standard of quality I expect from myself and my projects and was a grand asset to have. It will be interesting to see where we go from here!

And here we are, back in Japan. A lot less squeaky this time! I'm pretty sure that the patients would have a lot of complaints if the floor was as squeaky as an old castle, admittedly. But oh boy, what a good mission to end on this is. Take the Hitman 2 Japan missions, Terminal Hospitality, Flatline, a little bit of Traditions of the Tradem and then bring it all together with some amazing art direction and attention to detail. What do you get? This absolutely stunning mission. The way each area has its own tone and atmosphere, the way you have to think about your disguises in more terms than just which people it lets you through but which areas it lets you through, some great kills, all sorts of references... It's just really solid. Honestly, it's a great high point to end on. Yamazaki is a pretty enjoyable target, not great, but she's still entertaining with some great options. I think everyone loves the yoga option, it's really fun. Meanwhile, Soders, while he doesn't have much in terms of dialogue in this mission, there's still this sense of satisfaction because of how you come full circle, back all the way to your training. And the way you deal with him reminds me of Terminal Hospitality, just that thanks to the improvements in technology since then both in-game and out, you get some really memorable options to deal with him. And now we have confirmation of the sequel coming out later this year, and with the great impression this mission left, I can only say I'm hyped. They already showed a really interesting concept for a mission already, the chase for the Shadow Client is one, so we'll see how that goes! Frankly, the moment you pointed out the lighting in the fish tank area did make me want an Aquarium mission if only because it'd look stunning. I mean, can you imagine that? Finally, at the end of all of this, major props to you on this let's play! The attention to detail was spectacular, you did a really good job at giving a great show of each location, and you just kept it entertaining all the way. You can be sure I'll stick around for other future projects! Always show support for the frog \o/

Ah I am in my "commenting cycle" so I better take advantage now before I end up replying 2 weeks from now! I love your references for the levels. This does have a lot of spiritual homage to Terminal Hospitality which is one of my favorite missions of the game. This map is just mind boggling, I couldn't handle the visual splendor when I first stepped outside of our room to the balcony outside. If that is ANY testament to what IOI can create then consider me sold on HITMAN 2! I am holding off on pre-ordering until we get a little more info on the game and its expansions planned. I really like Yuki as a Target and character. She doesn't have that many enjoyable kills though. Soders is fun and you can do a surprising number of things to him considering he is static on a table the whole time! Now only if a surgeon would say "Doctor, Doctor, what are you doing?!" Thank you for your passionate replies, while I appreciate all viewers it is individuals such as yourself who I consider my target audience. And to further extend that, I am floored by the amount of "my target audience" viewers comment here! It certainly makes the efforts worthwhile I can say that! Cheers until next time! Before we go though, I think I might be coming down with a viral infection. I better go "take care" of that and return! ;)

Excellent let's play; very well executed throughout. Favorite map: Bangkok. I'm a sucker for a hotel mission and the Himmapan and its surroundings are just gorgeous. I wish there were more to do in Bangkok though, so for a close second I'll say Hokkaido for a combination of a great location and lots to do in it. Favorite kill: I know it wasn't the Blattymeow method and I wouldn't say it's the sort of thing that's my style either, but I just love the fighter jet ejection death of Jasper Knight. Cracks me up every time.

Thanks for all of your comments, I enjoyed reading them! I love Hotel levels too but the same reasons as you stated, something about the map feels empty. I think the band taking over the entire other wing is probably the culprit. Still a great pick and you can't go wrong. Honestly I think gameplay wise, I enjoy Hokkaido the most as well. I should stop stating my favorite map via video editing since it can change after the fact. Hehe, indeed those type of kills are not my MO but I can respect the unadulterated pleasure of sending Jasper to the moon. It is also amusing to consider that this kill was not "expected" by the training actors and may have actually killed the target! Cheers!

I'm glad you enjoyed my comments, @@blattymeow. I have actually watched all your let's plays of the older Hitman games and I wish I'd been more interactive. Yeah, the idea the training actors are legitimately shocked is one of my favorite parts about that Jasper kill. Gotta love that Hitman dark humor.

Hi Blatty!! The planning and work you put into these videos are not unnoticed. I have watched all your hitman series and you have done such an amazing job in each video!! Under ideal circumstances you should get 100k views for each, but i'm positive that the hundreds who do watch -- each goes away with the feeling of "wow that's amazing!". Thanks for all you do, and I hope we'll see a Hitman II later this year :)

Hey, thanks for the kind words of support I really appreciate that! I am not concerned by arbitrary numbers as I never intend to become "big" or make money off of this hobby. But what I do aim for is to create something that is watchable years after the fact and do make people go: "Well that was swell!" Comments such as yours helps cement that fact. I don't see any reason why a HITMAN 2 LP would not happen eventually! Cheers

Hey wait..i've seen this mission before somewhere. Anyways, this final mission is crazy good looking. They really pulled out all the stops on this one. I liked the crazy good view and all those sky lanterns. The only thing this place didn't have was a pool with a translucent glass floor lol. Gotta say the way you eliminated Yazuka, was one of the more awkward asassinations, it must've felt somewhat odd for 47 to do that lol. What the heck was up with that Scarecrow thing at the end, everyone was catching on fire when you got near them haha. My favorite map was the day time Saipenza map. My favorite kill is well, i guess it's the crystal ball head smasher. Great work on this impressive LP, bro! Look forward to the next one man!
@blattymeow
@blattymeow 6 лет назад
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed the LP...it certainly means a lot coming from you! Hokkaido is just all around impressive, it's utopian Japanese/modern infusion with impeccable design. The targets are interesting and the kills are as well! The scarecrow thing is an Easter egg where you set people ablaze if they are close to you...I just found it amusing so I added it in! Good choice, Sapienza is considered the best map by most so that makes sense. The crystal ball is a great kill I would have to agree! Thanks again

what a fitting time for an upload!! right after Hitman2's reveal amazing tour of the level as always , such a shame to see speedrunners and let's players so eagerly disregard the level's subtleties oh wow , looks like they patched it so the back stairs takedown does't spot you , good nice kill pick , and perfect wait for the line , i expected nothing less i actually just woke up so decided to do 47's yoga lol , glad he was't coaching me tho that pilot outfit looks just like what 47 will wear in the race track assassination! 36:10 AHA right in his nose! yeah , spot on that Kill Bill reference , nevermind that the Christmas level is one huge Home Alone fan level come to life and the real villain of *this* level is Hal himself from Space Odyssey , i think it's safe to say IOI has a bunch of nerds working for them , btw speaking of Hal i mean KAL , thought you would disassemble her but i guess theres no reason to completely compromise an entire establishment for one man. YOOOOO that was a badass montage!!! oh man so hype right now i should marathon all Hitman games and what a finale!! sure PZ will be done one day , but for now this is quite a fitting end in every sense of the word, welp while we all wait for E3 and more Hitman2 news how about i lend you a recommendation of my friend Daniel Waleczek , his content is few but great , much like yours he has an acquired taste of hitman , a taste that today is starting to be appreciated by more people. and that makes me glad people like you are helping this dream come to life. To compare: ever since AuzzieGamer resurrected , he has't done one video , while you absolutely completed the entirety of your series!! the amount of editing and gameplay cannot compare to whatever he's taking his time for same thing with NotBowen , he's already dead again ;_; youre a top tier hitman content creator , King Kong ain't got shit on the Yellow Frog good luck on your future projects and present endeavors Blatty , and godspeed
@blattymeow
@blattymeow 6 лет назад
Thanks Ze, your comments have been a real joy to read! I'm all about touring the level first, after all 47 would need to survey the environment to decide how best to take out his targets! I had a few ideas of how I wanted to do the hits but decided with Yoga and Manual surgery as they fit my style more than others. Haha you found the elusive yellow frog booger! Lots of nerds and geeks at IOI to be sure, I love the immense amount of Kill Bill nods in this map! I believe to get into Kai's mainframe without a scrambler, you need to either sneak into the guard room and lockpick a locker or take the director's disguise. Both methods are too out of the way for the LP's sake otherwise I may have chosen that kill! I will have to check out Daniel as I like to find passionate people! Patient Zero will happen, not sure when. Then other than ETs, I can give HITMAN a well deserved break!

Man, that head surgeon was one fidgety kid. He really needed to take a break, even if that involved breaking the back of his skull. One wonders just how deeply debased the definition of "god" must become if you can be considered one while laying prone on a table, at the perpetual mercy of the machines that keep you from dying. It's a good thing 47 is well versed in the ways of deicide. Though with that "glare at him and he dies" option, perhaps we know who really qualifies for godhood around here... Favorite map: holy hell that Hokkaido map is GORGEOUS. Though you have to admire both the mileage and the variety IO was able to wring from Sapienza. Favorite kill: The Icon. Literally launching your target into the jaws of death ... priceless.
@blattymeow
@blattymeow 6 лет назад
He just needs a little kick in the ass, he's no errand boy after all! Something interesting that you can do that I think you'd get a kick out of is that you can cause the chief surgeon to botch the operation himself. You need to do a mix of drugging him up and causing him great mental stress through some startling revelations. I love the reveal kill because it really shows 47 can literally kill you by just looking at you haha. Great picks, Hokkaido is the most visually impressive map to be sure. I chose Colorado because the pink lighting and muddy damp environment tickles my fancy. The mechanical teeth kill is one of the more gruesome deaths to be sure, good choice!

Absolutely fantastic. You're truly the god of Hitman. I found your channel while looking for a good Hitman 2 SA (my favorite Hitman game btw) playthrough after I played it again. I didn't expect much, but oh was I surprised. What a little gem of a channel this is. Looking forward to season 2 Until then, I'll be on the livestreams as much as I can.

Thank you Tobias, I am very glad you enjoyed the series! Interesting to know where some viewers come from. Hitman 2:SA is certainly one of my more effort induced projects. I prefer to be a small gem versus a large and visibally flawed jewel hahahaha. Because with more people comes less personal communication and a more mechancized approach to responses. Cheers!

I am looking forward to Hitman 2! Miami looks amazing and it is just more Hitman, what's not to love? Hmm, I don't have specific locations in mind but I really would love to see a nighttime map set during a thunderstorm. Thinking something like Beldingford Manor but more sandbox and larger.
