I think he would have been even more of a superstar if he hadn't been overshadowed by some larger-than-life personalities (Todd and Rob) that were big in the industry at the time. Thanks for the comment (as always)!!!
Spider-Man’s leg is way too long for me in the punisher issue you got on the a row. It’s a good one but that leg is exaggerated too heavily up the page for me
Yes! Exactly! I truly believe that Larsen was trying to establish himself as different than McFarlane. He looked at Todd's Spidey and decided the biggest trope was his scrunched physic, always folded on himself. So he emphasized the flexibility in another way. Elongated anatomy! It worked for me, but since it was a 180 from Todd's tropes, I completely understand how it can be jarring. THAT"S what I love about Erik's Spider-man, it's just different enough to grab my attention. Too fun! Thanks for the GREAT comment!!!
