So recently I've been interested in carpets because of just of beautiful and great reptiles they are despite their reputation, and I just wanted to say, I love the information you provided and your voice!
@@RayTAllen yeah I'd love to, but I'm not really in a practical situation to do so, I'm close to moving-out age and if I go out of state for uni who knows, since I want to give the animal the proper care it deserves and I don't know apartment regulations and etc.

He is a beautiful boy and glad l found this channel as l have 5 here, 2 jungles, 1 bredli, coastal and albino darwin. All mine are so easy going and not had too many issues with them. My Bredli was the most defenisive of all my Morelia. They are not necessarily a begginer but l think if you get them as young hatchling and that way you get to know them very well. l am reallly solely a carpet python person, though l have Antaresia and rough scaled. Good to see some others enjoying them, they are very smart and intelligent snakes.
My carpet used to bite me all the time when i first got her lol. I named her Bella the biter. 😂 now she has calmed down significantly. But I do enjoy watching her eat.
I had a male and a female, and neither of them ever calmed down. I gave up and gave them to a zoo keeper. I contacted him later, and he could not get them to calm down, either.

Just got my jungle carpet Python a week ago she’s around 6 foot and she’s a thick girl for sure. My wife and I held her and instantly fell in love with the snake. She’s definitely one of the better tempered ones and just amazing pattern that catches your eye. So far I definitely recommend the snake and just be smart in reading body language and once they’re out of the tank they’re sweethearts

Great info. I just got 2 jungles. Male and female both 2 yrs old. Never had one before. I collect BP's and other reptiles. The 2 I got are a bit intimidating so I am researching before I just reach in and grab them lol.
Does he ever just hold onto your arm or something, and just start holding really tight, and then wont let go? I got a carpet recently, and he will be totally fine like yours, then when he gets stressed or whatever, he just wraps my arm and wont let go, to the point where my hand is turning purple and I have to peel him off. Any thoughts? Id really appreciate your imput.

You definitely have a lot of experience when it comes to reptiles, however i think you should have gone over what you where going to say before filming this video as it just seemed like you where going round in circled talking about one thing, you didn't really talk about caring and important things to know.
