You've GOT to play as the other characters. On the Free Battle screen, you can click the left and right arrows on either side of each portrait to switch the characters. If I recall, you have Marine, Eggman and Silver among others.

Oh neat, thanks for playing! I was sorta gonna add controller support for menus too, buuut welp, I was sort of running out of time for SAGE, sooo I decided to skip on that for now. Hooowever, I'll probably add that at some point... in some way atleast, even if it's just a cursor you can move around with the analog stick! There's some slight problems with the little menu-controller support there is too such as pressing A to skip/proceed from the results, buuut I'll try to fix those too. Also, the game has 4P support with game controllers. (also holy hell you got lucky at 10:40, it usually plays the QUAKE jingle, but has 1% chance of playing Queen, haha)

Lmao, the "fifth member" is Marine instead of Sticks. Why aren't there more jokes about this? Also, I'm gonna be pissed if Sticks gets the same treatment Marine did... as in never appearing again. I honestly consider her a great addition to the main team, she's eccentric and unique in personality

I've thought initially that this game will be rather some minor "joke-stuff", but after playing in it I've got admit, that it's a really nice thing to play! It's quite odd that amongst all those "deformed" (and probably mentally unstable) characters Marine the Racoon seems to be only looking normal (and sane) character :P Although... I wish that there could be created something similar (also with Sonic characters), but with "normal" aesthetics (let's say that sight of Knuckles attacking with his naked hips is not the nicest sight :P). Of course I don't want to say that there is anything wrong with Sonic Boom and the Smash Crew, since creator made there an outstanding job. And I understand that the whole easthetics is intentional. I just really miss this type of games on PC and wish to have also something more "conventional" in purely aesthetical terms (even if it would be fan-made).
