Hey Ris! Glad you enjoyed the episode! Love the new screen layout, and thanks for all the shout outs and links to us too! Now with the Rooster Teeth merger on top of being owned by Fullscreen and Otter Media, I don't really have the same kind of authority to give that kind of permission anymore. To be perfectly frank, my previous informal permission probably doesn't really hold up much now after the acquisition and merger. Not to dissuade you. As much as I dislike how some "reactionists" practically steal entire works for self profits without asking the creators and also add nothing to the community of the original source, I believe that Rooster Teeth appreciates well done, gracious, professional and interactive reaction videos like yours. I know I have yet to meet anyone who has a problem with how you conduct/structure this video! I like watching you create a positive vibe around Death Battle, and on a personal unprofessional level I honestly would like to see you do the same with DBX when it begins in May. The team of OMM had a falling out with Screwattack so DBX is its replacement on Screwattack's channel. Though OMM will still continue on a new channel called 'Hyun's Dojo' and 'Hyper Gauge'. You could react to their videos.

I do not know if people know this, but DMC and Bayonetta were made by the same person.

While I'm not really trying to push the bill on this. But purely in my opinion, Devil May Cry 3 Dante's Awakening Special Edition is perhaps one of the greatest action style hack and slash video games ever made. Albeit that DMC4 and DMC4 Special Edition surpassed it gameplay mechanic wise. DMC wasn't put on the map until this game made that name legendary. Dude... Play that game!

I've noticed that a lot of Bayonetta fans are pretty pissed off about the fact that Dante won in Screwattack's Death Battle. Tbh, Bayonetta would've loss anyway, and I'm going to tell you why. Oh and you might to sit down for this one, cause it's a long ass discussion. Ahem.......okay, remember when Dante fought against Agnus in DMC4 and Dante kicked his ass? Agnus tried to figure out how he was defeated so easily and Dante told him that it was the fact his sold his humanity for demonic power. Then Agnus went on ranting about that ol Dante himself wasn't human. Afterwards, Dante explained that though humans are weaker than demons physically, there was one special thing that humans had that the demons were lacking in and that is........wait for it.........a heart or to put it in layman's terms, the ability to have compassion, to love, to change for better, & protect someone you care about as well as protecting other innocent bystanders.(Excluding Trish, Lucia, & good ol LDK Himself, Sparda, cause they got heart). Also I know somebody's gonna to try to defend the 2 umbran whores saying they have compassion. So I'm guessing the fact that Enzo being forced to fill up a grave hole in Bayonetta 1 & force to carry bags for Bayonetta in Bayonetta 2(against his will I might add), not paying Enzo back the money she owes for destroying his car....TWICE, busting caps at Rodin at Noatun, pointed a gun at Loki's face & threatened to make him dead when Loki saved that evil bitch by giving her some of his power in Chapter 5(should've let the shank drown), talking down to her own dad, threatened to abandon little Cereza at some creepy building if she didn't stop crying(you don't do that to a child Bayonetta), kicked Luka into a bottomless pit in Chapter 5 of Bayo 2, Jeanne running over innocent beings(the angels) with her bike, the 2 whores dressing like nuns(mocking Christianity) just to trick angels into be sacrificed, causing the balance of the universe to lean more over to the dark side, desecrating tombstones, Jeanne cruelty towards Enzo, Jeanne nearly causing an accident on the highway in the prologue of Bayonetta 2 and finally, Jeanne willing to destroy an island filled with innocent people when she quoted, "We Umbra Witches will do whatever it takes to protect our treasures & secrets. Even if means burning this entire island to a crisp", back in Bayonetta 1, is having compassion right? If that's what you Bayonetta fans call compassion, then something is seriously wrong with your ass.In all fairness, the Umbra Witches(including Bayonetta, Jeanne, & Rosa)are really no different the how the Order of the Sword from DMC4, use to be. Same with Arkham from DMC 3 & Arius from DMC 2. Also due to the fact that they made pacts with the demons themselves. Sure they used different methods in obtaining demonic power, but the end result is the same. They all abandoned their humanity by selling out to dark forces, who BTW,enjoys killing innocent beings(angels & humans) just for thrills and a quick turn on. WHICH IS BAD PEOPLE[I CAN'T STRESS THAT ENOUGH ](-_-)!!!!! (Just in case some nut tries to say oh the umbrans & demons are the heroes, the lumens & angels are evil, hell is good & heaven is bad or some stupid shit like that). Now unfortunately, some of the members from the Order of the Sword who wanted to do good(mainly Credo & maybe a few Alto Angelos as well as the regular hooded soldiers) believed that they were reborn as good ol angels, but sadly that wasn't the case. Due to Sanctus distasteful sham, but I think the majority of the Order knew they were demons. (Sighs)........But I know bayo fans are gonna mention the fact that Dante has demonic power in him, so how is he any better? Well let's see. How about the fact that he was born a half breed. He didn't have a choice in the matter. Plus he has compassion so yeah, there's that. On the other hand, Bayonetta had a choice. And she chose the wrong side. Gave up your ticket for eternal happiness for an eternity of pain and misery when you die. How idiotic can you be. And you can ask granny Jeanne about that when got dragged to inferno. I her she had a fun time down there. Especially when her soul was inside of Alruane. Speaking of those two sellouts, you bayo fans are probably thinking that Bayonetta & Jeanne would still beat the DMC Triple Threat due to their Witch Time ability, right? Heh heh heh.......WRONG!!!!!(>_

Hey Ris, I like the new Death Battle Let's Watch layout. Also, you seem to have learned a lot from your past Let's Watch Death Battles. You're slowly growing (As a RU-vidr and as a person) and so awesome. I've been a fan of yours for almost 3 years now and I will enjoy you watching the same Death Battles I've watched. when I saw this death battle, I had a feeling Dante was going to win since he was a demon hunter and Bayonetta summons abunch of demons. and I wonder if they'll include Bowser's powers he gained in Skylanders Superchargers.I'm guessing the main reason they've include Trish and Jeanne in the fight is to introduce their new show; DBX

I know this is very, very, very early to say this, but this is, and will be, one of my favorite Death Battle in Season 3.

As far as I understand it, the guy who did One Minute Melee doesn't work with ScrewAttack anymore, and is continuing it on their own channel. I guess DBX is their way of replacing the loss of One Minute Melee

One minute melee move to the channel Hyun's Dojo and also to the channel Hyper Gauge. DBX is its replacement, which hopefully gets better over time.

"Isn't that essentially One Minute Melee?" said everyone everywhere. One minute melee has started placing their battles on their own channels, so it's quite possible this new show is its replacement.

The creator of both characters said Bayonetta would win, that knowledge alone destroys all this deathbattle has shown.

I'm not shocked with the result Dante has a amazing healing factor, along with the demon form being a swiss army knife that she couldn't stop or prevent the devastation. With no way of killing or to knock out Dante she was doomed to lose.

wait ... Dante's pistols have the halo 4 magnum sound? AWESOME!

Few problems with this fight. First off, Bayonetta's demons can't be killed in the real world. You need to go to Inferno to kill them, which is basically hell. If you kill them in the real world, she can just summon them back. Dante killing Madama Butterfly and Gomorrah goes completely against the series cannon. Second. While Quicksilver does potentially counter Witch Time, it's still not as great. Quicksilver only lasts for a few moments, while Bayonetta can use Witch Time for minutes. Also, she can activate Witch Time, while Witch Time is already active. Basically slow down time, while it's slowed down. Effectively countering Quicksilver. And third. While Dante's raindrop feat is rather impressive, it only puts him around mach 20. They didn't even bother showing Bayonetta's best speed feat, which is dodging the energy arms of boss in Bayonetta 2. The said boss can reach his hands into space and pull down meteors in five seconds. These are the same arms that Bayonetta dodges at a much closer range. Overall, the fight is not bad, the reasoning is. They can both technically kill each other, though Bayonetta has most of the advantages.

Death Battle Idea: Battle of the Gods, Palutina the goddess of light vs Beerus the god of destruction.

The One Minute Melee team and Screwattack apparently had a falling out, so now that show's on a different channel, and Screwattack decided to make a new show with the same concept.

Hey Ris, I'm a big fan. Thanks for so many hours of entertainment. I'd like to ask if you're going to do a devil May cry lets play, I'd love to see it if you decide to do it. I'd personally recommend 3, but they're all goo I look forward to what ever series you have planned.

The funding or some other behind the scenes stuff happened between Screwattack and the OMM creators, so they are now on their own channel called HyperGauge, and the new episodes are put on a third channel [forgot the name, or how to spell it, but its linked on HyperGauge] So it does seem like they are just making DBX to replace OMM. What I wonder is who is taking from who. Did Screwattack kick OMM out, or did they decide to leave. Because honestly if Screwattack kicked out OMM, and then made a new show doing the very same thing, im really disappointed in them. So dirty =/

One Minute Melee still exists, but for some reason, it's no longer affiliated with Screw Attack. Well, either way, both OMM and DBX are pretty cool.

The Devil Mat Cry series was made when Crap-con, Sorry I mean Capcon tried to make one of the Resident Evil games, botched it and went with it Naming it Devil May Cry! BEST BOTCH JOB EVER!!! XD If you couldn't tell I love the Devil May Cry franchise! Also Ris Grestar the second games shit and the *reboot DMC Devil May Cry* has (apparently decent game play) in the up dated version of the game but the story and redesigns of the characters is God, God awful. the first version of *Reboot* had even more shity game play than the second game so if you do like the Devil May Cry games then be weary of this if you want to try the *Reboot*, but I personally (along with most of the fan base despise the Reboot with a vengeance.

You made some hilarious faces during this.And honestly you don't really have to get permission for a lot of these. I know you LIKE to, but unless the maker has rules about it, it's generally considered ok, especially since you link to them and tell people to watch the original first.If Bowser does go up against Ganondorf I think he'd ultimately win. I know Gdorf is far more intimidating and manages to have more followers and isn't usually defeated as easily as Bowser, but if we put aside the whole "he can only be defeated by this one special weapon" thing that would have to happen for Gdorf to have ANY opponent, Bowser is stronger, faster, has more experience in direct combat...and his greatest weakness would turn out to be his biggest strength. Bowser is a complete dolt, but when he becomes Giga Bowser, he remains the same way. Ganon is specifically stated to have NO intelligence. Ergo, Bowser would, for the first time in his entire life, be smarter than his foe.

If you are confused about the whole One Minute Melee and DBX thing, it's that the person who created One Minute Melee (Mali I think) stopped making Death Battles and kept One Minute Melee to themselves. Though I do find it weird how they are just replacing Mali's creation with DBX.

DBX is actually a thing though Ris! It's the new one minute melee essentially because I think Screw Attack dropped One Minute Melee? Or the guy making it left. But Yeah! It's a thing!

bayoneta is better in terms of speed, attack, and agility/evasion, while dante has better durability/defence

I loved this battle I thought it was awesome. And if Bowser is fighting Ganondorf as much as I like Bowser he's screwed because Ganondorf can only be killed by holy/light attribute weapons meaning he can only be killed by either Light Arrows or the Master Sword.

With ScrewAttack supporting your Let's Watch of Death Battles, have you ever thought or asked about bringing the original Superman vs Goku reaction back? I'm curious to know since I do want to watch it again.

OMM's no longer associated with ScrewAttack. They didn't like the treatment they were given, so they moved to the Hyun's Dojo channel (season three's already started). DBX is essentially a replacement for it.

While I do agree that Dante could beat her 1 on 1 if you consider their current strengths, I believe it's an unfair battle. Dante has had many more games to grow his strength, but Bayonetta has only had 2, and she could still give him a major run for his money. Considering the growth rate of each of their respective powers, I'd be willing to bet Bayonetta would surpass him given enough games/time

If the laws of black butler magically applied, the wounds from bayonetta's demonic weapons wouldn't heal on Dante. Too bad. Would have evened out the playing field a little more

DBX does seem to be the same thing as One Minute Melee but with shitty 3D animation so I actually prefer OMM if we're going for the no analysis thing. Also, the animation and 3D modeling was super awesome in this episode of Death Battle. I also figured that Dante was going to win simply because Bayonetta IS just a human and just from playing both of their games you can easily see that she's not nearly as resilient as Dante who is super bloody overpowered.

BTW, 1 Minute Melee has gone to a different RU-vid channel, so DBX is the replacement series. Season 3 of that show has begun, Ichigo vs Sasuke. You can find it, and watch it at your own leisure, but I just wanted to clear the air on the matter.

And also witches are humans, they just have magical potential associated with the moon, and are then trained in the Bullet Arts IF they are Umbra Witches, who are usually (usually because Bayonetta is a bond of light and darkness) purebred.

Although this fight wasn't bad at all giving the win to dante bothers me. I mean Bayonetta's demons can't die in the real world. Second they overlooked some of Bayonetta's weapons so saying Dante's arsenal outmatched Bayonetta's is an overstatement.Overall I didn't agree with the verdict although the fight wasn't terrible.

shes half lumen sage and lumen sages are as fast as the speed of light pairing perfectly with her witch time and also she cant be killed by swords n stuff she can only be really killed by breaking her magic watch which is an umbra witches source of power so her dying here is very unrealistic

okay first Bayo isnt 7'7 she is a normal height for a woman like like 5'5 and her heels make her somewhere around 5'8 or 5'7 cause Luka is most likely around a normal male height like 5'8 to 5'10 or 11 and Bayonetta is in fact shorter then him as seen in Bayonetta 2

The "no outside help" rule doesn't actually exist, screwattack has stated this before on Twitter if I remember. Great reaction by the way. :)

Dante always will have the larger fanbase which is a shame because bayonetta is such a cool character. And because bayonetta 2 is an exclusive to the wiiu many fans are pissed or will most likely not have the chance to play it. So you see.. Bayonetta lost before the battle even started
