The ending was basically Wally running forward through time until Sonic's super form ran out, and the flashing Sonic images at the end was just the animator finding a bunch of Archie Sonic art and going nuts with it.

You are correct on both accounts, Jason Todd is Red Hood, and the previous Live Action Death Battle was Daredevil vs Nightwing, I've been watching the Death Battles as they come out(being subbed and all), but I don't remember who wins most of them, so it's a nice refresher, and neat to see your reaction, hear your thoughts etc.

This battle is bittersweet for me. Sonic is, and always has been, my favorite character ever. Ten years ago, I would have (and did) stubbornly argued that he is faster than Flash. Nowadays? I know better. Nobody is faster than a Flash, and no Flash is faster than Wally West. So, when this fight got announced, I knew I'd be watching Sonic lose. He put up a bigger fight than I expected, but I was prepared for the ending. Still a fantastic fight, though.

I only have one thing to say. And it is that something makes me feel weird knowing that Sonic's middle name is Maurice

At the end when Wally strikes Sonic he doesn't just kill Sonic but every version of sonic from the multiverse as he goes from all the art designs

ARCHIE Sonic is ridiculous and copies a lot of powers from the flash comics but flash has been around much longer and DC universe is broken and Wally is the most broken character in it. So as a huge sonic fan I agree with the results

Fun fact about this fight. Someone put this battle to Emerald Heros, Or Ben 10 VS. Green Lantern's theme. It fits really well honestly. And yes. It is live action. All I will say.

Fun fact? The Enerjak that Supe Sonic fights? Was a corrupted Knuckles who'd fully tapped into the Chaos Force. Also that time he did the reality rewrite? He had Megamans help too lol

Just to let you know, SOnic ACTUAL name that wasn't displayed on the video is actually "Olgilvie Maurice Hedgehog". Olgilvie is pronounced "OHL-JOE-VEE".

I forgot to comment this when I watched this originally but, this death battle made me not see the Sonic 3 Special Stage or the Sonic Mania Opening background the same way anymore since the death took place at a location that resembles both those places from Sonic.

This was easily one of my favorite deathbattles I'm a huge fan of both characters and the animation was definitely the best for its season imo

the only thing that i cant understand is how is flash not hurt when sonic attacks him, i mean in the archie comics its clearly shown that sonic is super resistant and i know that flash has very fast recovery but he being hitted should stop him for some time, he still has a human body.

As much as I love Sonic, I don't think I could grow to like the Archie version. He just seemed way too overpowered.

Yeah, this matchup was the one episode of Season 7 that stung me hard given that I wanted DC to take an L against a Non Marvel character like it was true since against anyone else, Archie's version of Sonic is unbeatable, but Wally was the only exception to it but as for the flashes of Sonic when he was dying, it was him reliving every second of his life before disintegrating. Next Time with Winter Soldier and Red Hood, yes it is a live action fight that is coming up next for ya but hey I can't wait for you to see it next week.
