hi, I've been watching this series religiously! I never had any of these magazines, but was in the Warhammer hobby at the time and have heard about them. I really appreciate you documenting the series, not just doing the flip thru (which is great), but also engaging with the content by doing the activities (both as written, and putting your own spin on them with your 3d printer). Good idea to split out the battle reports, I think you need the right mood to watch them, but your style of battle report is good too (weaving in narrative to explain the dice rolls instead of just being 'i rolled a five to hit and then scored a wound on the strike'. Basically I'm trying to say "bravo, keep at it!"
Hey, thank you very much for the kind words! Glad to have you with me and pleased you are enjoying the series. I still feel there is work to be done to get the best way of showing things but I think I'm getting there.
I remember when I tried to create my own hedges, bushes and fields for Shire using sponges, old carpets and boxes. At that time you wouldn't find a spare box or sponge in my house, I wish I bought more of those magazines back in early 2000s.
